Hrm..... I've been running with Shroud of the Lightless, and my PoB dps was at about 2 mil. Just bought a 5L Cloak of Defiance, and that brings me down to less than 1.4 mil. PoB says my mana regen is now 1342, while it was 1065 with the Shroud. with both, life is about 3.7k and mana is 5.5k. My resists are not yet capped, so the 10% Lightning from Shroud is helpful.

My passive tree is full except for getting the Cluster Jewels, so for awhile, I don't think I need Cloak's MoM freebie.

Should I just stash the Cloak while waiting for enough fusings to go for a 6L, sell it, or use it?

Edit: I should note that I also have a 6L rare... with that I do 1.9 mil DPS, mana regen is 1043, life and mana are 3.6k and 5.4k.

I'm on lvl 90 clusters jewel tree. I don't have Transcendent Mind, so I put Tempered Mind instead, also don't have the currency to buy Watcher's Eye, so I put a regular Cobalt jewel (12% increased spell dmg + %7 to maximum life).
Should I run it like this till I have the currency to buy the right jewels, or is there better nodes to pick?

For starters, you would upgrade the Tempered Mind to acquire the Transcendant Mind. However, I don't think we gain anything from doing that, and we should stick with Tempered Mind. So don't sweat the Chaos on that one.

Yes, go ahead and use your rare jewel if that's what you have, for it's better than leaving the hole empty.

Edit: Transcendent Mind can give us a small extra squeeze of mana recovery. Not worth buying one, IMHO. Just wait to upgrade the Tempred to get it.

Thank you. I still have refund points should I refund the node occupied by Cobalt jewel and the 10 Int node adjacent to it and pick something else? I die a lot, so it will be a long time for me to progress (leveling wise)

When linked without a trigger wand they should. However, if you are using a trigger wand then they will not. You need to replace hextouch with blade blast if using a trigger wand.

I would like them to cast automatically would need a trigger wand for that right?

If using without a trigger wand then casting the wave should make hextoutch set off conductivity (as long as the gems are linked). If you want it done automatically, you need to have "Cast a socketed spell when you use a skill" crafted onto the wand. Once you do that you should replace Hex with blade blast (keep it lvl 1). At this point you won't need any of the sockets linked as the enchant will cast the spells top to bottom in your wand.
