I haven't found a rare pair of boots yet that I would prefer over them, but fixing the resists to fit them is the main difficulty.

I might try using an Atziri flask in combination with The Agnostic.
The Agnostic allows you to drop a health flask, and Atziri has some nice upsides while being affordable.

I don't have room to run a Healthy Mind, since I'm using The Anima Stone and adapting the tree to fit in another jewel socket is costing me too much damage.
The Anima Stone gives a nice damage boost, together with a defence boost so I prefer it over the health reduction caused by a Healthy Mind.

Anyone uses Omeyocan? With the boots my mana regen is 1110 and I'm not sure if it's worth it.

Bro, only the fact that you say "requires some unique items" is something bad - makes me think that you're brainless.

I use Omeyocan and love it, but I only swapped after I had 3 sources of % mana recovery (Tempered/Transcendent Mind + Shaper/Redeemer belt + Watcher's Eye).
I don't notice any negative impact atm from the mana drain.

Indeed we do. Drill down into the Gear section and you'll see that once you acquire an Essence Worm, you should but Wrath in there.

Could anybody tell me, why I have so much trouble sustaining mana on
genericbullshit?
Last season I didnt have any Problems on my Necromancer.
Sure my gear isn´t that good yet but i can´t even sustain rightios fire let alone my Arc when fighting bosses.

Necro had better mana sustain because of the Essence Glutton + Desecrate + Kitava's Teachings engine. It requires more attention this league. Make sure you have the Tempered Mind and Pure Talent jewels in your tree per the guide's instructions (the former won't work without proper placement and passive allocation--you'll have to adjust yours) and also that you are regularly hitting with Wave of Conviction to keep up the mana regen granted by Mastermind of Discord (i.e. trigger wand). Also, the correct boot enchantment helps a ton here.

Other things that will help a lot when you can afford them: Cloak of Defiance, 20% quality on amulet, and a belt/Watcher's Eye with increased mana recovery rate.

All that will help tremendously. But realistically, you can't expect mana recovery will ever be as good with an elementalist as it was with the necromancer.

Anyone got any advice where I should upgrade next? Or where I should be going in skill tree? Should I grab vengeful commander for my Wrath? my Cluster jewel has it already, just need to move a couple skills to get it.

I notice some of you aren't taking the lightning nodes at the top of the tree, is the dmg not worth it? Points better off elsewhere?

Is Tempered mind really worth it? By my count it gives 15% increased mana recovery, but I currently have a rare jewel in that slot that gives 15% mana regen rate as well as 10% increased max mana. Maybe I'm missing something? Is mana recovery from tempered mind different than mana regen rate? My listed regen numbers in tool tip go down with tempered mind, but I must be mistaken somehow
