Windripper and a Phys bow setup are two completely different setups. It is like saying my dps with Lioneye's Glare is 18k but when I switch to fireball it is 2k.

Windripper scales purely of elemental damage. Lioneye's Glare scales purely of physical damage.

I could go into detail but try to read up on poe wiki instead.

Guys, could somebody tell me which enchantments on my boots would be good? I'm a Lightning Arrow Ranger. Currently, I've got 0.4% life and mana leech when I've killed recently. Good enough? Or should I rerun the lab to get a better enchantment? If so, which one? And, does it matter if I run Normal or Cruel when enchanting my boots?

This is explained in the frenzy charges section of the guide (Frenzy gem, Blood Rage gem or Blood Dance boots). Thus, if you used Blast Rain your choices would be Blood Rage gem or Blood Dance boots.

Neversinks thread is partially about his build and partially about phys bow builds in general.

The difference between his guide and the one you linked? None really.

There are a 1000 small variations of the "standard phys bow build". The guide you linked to is one of those variations. It is all about the same setup really. Stack % increase to phys dmg, attack speed, crit, crit multi, life, movement speed etc. and go for some ascendancy class / item setup.

In my opinion 90% of the guides on Ranger forums are not really guides but an item setup / variation of the standard core setup. You could delete them all and not really tell the difference.

what do you youse on boss fights ??
lightning is nice for map clean and tornado 2 but for boss fghts i dont no what to do i cent get my frenzi up bacouse i am 2 soft and blood rage is not an option but without my franzi my dmg is bad, not thet my gear is por but still.
what do i do ?? PLS HELP thx

Started this build yesterday Perandus HC league with literally nothing.

I choose the defensive version of this build (i went for the 40 hp from oak instead of skill point).

I must say, my clear speed is literally amazing. DPS in town is 4k on frenzy and 2.8k on tornado. 3link frenzy and 5link tornado.



As you can see my gear is not that impressive just through together what I could find. Also Ascened as well.

I am loving this build though. +1 Will answer any questions for someone trying to start this. Very simple to get in to.

I use Puncture for fast bosses or Puncture Trap for bosses that don't move around much.
