Unable to connect to patching server

I can get past patching server but I get stuck at character log in

Just hit the login button over and over and keep trying. You'll eventually get in.
That's what I did. I thought it was something I did. turning off firewalls and Norton and such. but all that does not really matter. I turned back my software on and just sat there hitting login over and over and it eventually connects. |

Played 3 hours ago, everything was fine

I have the same problem with everyone else, except I'm using the Mac unofficial port by Julus. I don't think that there was a patch this morning, but I was able to play fine last night, and now it brings me to the dreaded (Unable to connect to patch server) after a short Connecting to server loading screen when I pull up the client. I tried running it with - -patching-server pathofexile.com:3724, rebooting my laptop, disabling firewall, and I don't know what to do anymore. Can someone please help?

I'm trying to install the game (under Ubuntu/precise) but the installer constantly says that it can't connect to patching server.

Was able to play last night, woke up this morning and got the error message of "Cannot connect to patching server."

I selected "Run as administrator" from r. click context menu on the desktop shortcut and it solved the issue. I am also able to start the game with a simple shortcut double click now ...
