Unable to connect to patching server

Greetings Community, I am having the same issue getting onto PoE to play. I was fine up until around 2:40-3:00am est. I just disconnected and was not able to reconnect. i exited the game and cannot connect to patching server comes up, so I apply the properties fix and when I do get into the login screen it times out connecting to login servers. Here is my tracert.

Random server related. you might think you did something special because the problem randomly fixed itself when in fact you didn't do anything really.


I just sit there and hit login button over and over and it connects.

I have been unable to log on POE all morning. Kept getting error message: "Unable to connect to patching server". I tried running as administrator but nothing worked.

I cannot see my character inventory in the forum...something's wrong today? Help someone?

It's probably the Path of Exile network servers or whoever they have for their hosting.

Or some backbone network routing.


This is not a problem of the clients.

People are all fumbling around with their firewalls etc... It has nothing to do with your virus software or firewall etc.

A lot of people are having this problem. And they need to acknowledge it as a real problem instead of a have you done this and that.

like I said in the previous thread. you didn't do anything magical to make it work. you think you did something and it worked because it was randomly having problems.


it's like me going to my fridge and saying I opened a can of soda and then it worked!
