Armour movement penalties shouldn't be a thing

If we had something like classic or MMORPG, where was penalty for using heavy armor (less stamina, less movement speed), that would be useful. But in POE there are not standart classes. Silk robe user can be more tanky than ornate plate user. We don't have "heavy" or "light" armour. And BOTH silk robe and ornate have the movement speed penalty. The pinnacle of absurd is corsair coat it has hidden movement speed penalty and bonus movement speed implicit at the same time. So the movement speed penalty in POE is pointless. The only reason is: "It's POE, so you must suffer, ha-ha!" The suffering is the goal itself. |
