96-100

From 96-100 there is such small gains that I think most don't find value in going beyond 95. People crave power. Sure, there's status too if you get to 100 but it pales in comparison. I propose incrementally increasing the passive skill point gain per level past 95.

So:

95=1
96=2
97=3
98=4
99=5
100=6

This would keep more people playing much longer in the season in my opinion while not trivializing anything that would have already been trivialized at that point.

I know how GGG will implement this, they will instead remove the skill points you get from level 2 to 10. they love punishing us
This would make a huge gap in terms of power. People would be against it, only no lifers would be able to get all of it. Don't forget that you lose insane amount of xp when you die. Only no lifers with insane gear don't die.

Avarage players will die to one shots.

I disagree. No-lifers will surely get the 5 levels if they really wanna sweat it out and min-max, but much like temple, the time-reward ratio is not there. The player base would largely be unaffected any more by the no-lifers getting to 100 then they are them getting to 95 or so. The death penalty is harsh, especially after 95, which is precisely why there should be greater reward as you grind through those otherwise rewardless levels.

Creating higher and higher rewards for longer and longer grinds encourages players to play games in a way they dont want to. imo

The majority of the playerbase doesn't enjoy grinding to 100 and bribing them with extra passive points won't change that.

I also dont like the idea of creating a wide power gap between lvl 95 and 100.

you could be right that more people play for longer, but would it be because they are enjoying the game or because they're x% away from reaching an inflated milestone?

Or, they could keep it as-is and just make the xp curve less obnoxious at higher levels.
