The quantity and quality of loot dropped in a map should be entirely dependent on factors such as the number and quality of monsters in the map, and the rarity of the player opening the map.
Currently, a group of six players entering the same map will receive a massive bonus to the number of loot drops, while a single player will receive far fewer.
In other words, GGG is indirectly rewarding studios and players who use automated cheats (programs that automatically move characters or complete other commands) to form multiplayer groups. GGG is encouraging this type of cheating. At the same time, GGG has not imposed strict bans or restrictions on players who use cheats or other similar methods, resulting in severe in-game economic exploitation for all other players who do not use these methods. This happens almost every season.
The most valuable rewards for multiplayer teams in this game shouldn't simply be an increase in the number of loot drops on a map (because that's illogical. All loot comes from killing monsters or opening chests. As long as the number of monsters in a map doesn't increase, the number of loot drops shouldn't increase regardless of how many players enter the map). Instead, they should be the following:
1. On a high-difficulty map, with a 6-player team, if the team is well-matched, even if each of the 6 team members has relatively low gear, they can still combine well together, allowing them to easily clear the map.
2. On a normal-difficulty map, with a 6-player team, if the team is well-matched, even if each of the 6 team members has relatively low gear, they can still combine well together, increasing their speed in clearing the map.
3. Other rewards that don't rely on the number or rarity of dropped items.
Thanks for watching.
U know, that, when u play party its not like ure always getting more loot?
In a scenario where all party members are sharing what they found it can be more, but when ure only playing in permanent settings, all drops are divided and not in a "fair" way, just randomly. So some could get more, some less and some the same loot, as if they would play alone.
Also Party EXP AND Loot drops are only higher when the ppl are on the SAME screen. So its not possible to just let some afk dudes stay at spawn, the group needs to be together for the party bonus.
And i never saw anyone using this "cheats". And even if, in every game some ppl will abuse systems or use cheats, thats no reason to make something worse, just different, or putting in more effort to ban those players.
Playing in Party should always be more rewadring, cause this is good for a game. Finding new ppl and so on. If u want to play solo, fine, ull still find a lot of loot if u play good.
This post sounds more like a person, who dont got anyone to play with... if u would have done so, u would now, that partying is not OP or something like that.
Also in Lategame with good gear and build ull shred everything in seconds alone or with ppl. The most point in partying in Lategame is the Loot or just the fact to play with friends.

this is how your logic works:
1.I never saw anyone use cheats = there are no cheats or cheaters.
2.If there are cheats, ggg should ban them(but after 4 seasons ,ggg can't do this)
2.Solo player can try their best to achieve the effect which group player made so group player is not op or solo player is very op.
very cute.
just explain one thing for me, please.
spend one T15 waystone, in a same map, same numbers of monsters
why a 6 memeber team enter and can get 6x more drop and 1 solo player enter only get 1x drop?
you mean you agree that a 6 member team can turn 1 waystone into 6 waystones?
seriously?

... 6 ppl find stuff for 6 ppl, cause their are 6 ppl...
xD i mean they need to split it, if their playing free for all and share all.
And yes, it doesnt matter if i play alone or with friends, when were playing same maps, as if i play alone, ill get round about the same drops. I mean if in one Map 2 Divines drop for me, and when i play with my bf 4 drops, sure i also got 2 divines.
Theres a reason why theres more loot when playing with more ppl.
Also theres a lot more risk, when playing in party and the building kits need to be fitting. If we play with someone who needs last hits, or headhunter, we cant play with someone using the Unique Gloves that he/she/div get all kills. for example.
Bosses or Monsters in generall are more likely to stun/freeze just elemental ailment you, and also the monsters have 100% more hp bar for every party member, also more stun and ailment threshold.
If ure in a party with 6 noobs, u will not fullfill any good and hard map, cause it will be so hard, compared to playing alone, that its not possible for them.
Partying only works, when most of the party members have good builds, aka damage and sustain.
I dont know why i need to say that, i guess not all ppl are playing a lot party, as i do. I mean im playing alone and a lot in party and im getting good loot overall.
I dont see the point why partying should be nerved. Even when ppl are playing with Rarity Support, there needs to be one person fully invest in that character, building it, crafting/finding/buying the respective items for that build and so on. This is also a playstyle for a good try to help the party beeing better and getting better loot, than playing alone. I mean beeing better together cant be a bad thing in a game, it should always be rewarding and trying to bring the ppl together.
I mean i see here the problem more in the possibility to find good partys. Why theres no Party Hub where i can sign in my charakter and role/playstyle to find ppl to party with? why are official partys are not all seeable in all realms? The system is just lacking, in my opinion, partying should be a thing, that brings ppl together, for a reason or two, better exp/loot and maybe finding new ppl to play with or maybe better, friends.
And yes, if ppl are playing SSF or just want to play alone, they should also be rewarded for higher risk, and yes thats the point. That the game isnt fully balanced, i mean its Early Access, is clear, but i dont think downgrade partying is the solution here.

no you didnt answer the question
for eample ,there is a tree.
one man kills one tree and get one wood, cost one day
six men kill one tree and get one wood, cost half day or less time.
six million men kill one tree and get one wood, cost maybe one minute.
this is the right drop logic.
now in poe2, things will go like this:
one man kills one tree and get one wood, cost one day
six men kill one tree and get six wood, cost one day or other time.
still the same one tree, why a six memeber team make this one tree turn into six wood which should come from six trees not one tree?
tree = waystone
man = players in your team
this makes no sense.
maybe form a matched team is very diffcult or something else, but one tree is one tree. it can only produce one wood(even there are 1 billion people kill this tree,it only produce one wood). but the game now is not run like this.
this is the drop logic problem in poe2 group play.

Quite dumm request. Find a party and play to have a chance for same amount of loot. Or.. may be, before requesting nerf for last possible party play strat, try to use you head not only as food input and calculate all their (i assume ur talking about Empirian) profit for a week+ of play. And they play more then 2-3h after work, lol. A week! Then devide it to 6, as there are 6 ppl playn.
Not even wrong
if your IQ is not enough to understand cheat and automatic programs, please close your mouth.
if your IQ is not enough to understand economic exploitation, please close your mouth.
if your IQ is not enough to undestand the item drop logic and reasonable reward mechanism, please close your mouth.
don't be a joker and show your funny IQ here, thanks.
Oh the irony.

OP makes a lot of assumptions about the current state/functioning of group play in this game and they're nearly all incorrect.
Try it for a league and get back to us. You will be more disappointed than you can imagine.

i dont often do group play but i did some maps with friends the other day and we dropped maybe 4 div in 4 maps. between 5 people.
i did 2 maps immediately after and dropped 2 divs
this is a myth perpetuated by people who dont understand the drop mechanics.
i dropped literally 90 div today.
