ES still the only viable defense

Im running armor and doing end game content no problem. I have a little ES but not much. The mod to your gear for add % to elemental damage for your armor really makes a difference.

Hi. 2k+ hours in poe2 since 0.1.
Playing melee for the first time.¨ 2.3k hp + 2.7k ES. 75%armor + 68%armor applied to ele. Getting one shoted to the point where i can't fking run a 6 mod map. Unbelievable. Never playing this trash melee shit again til they fking make a DECENT balance. Galaxys away from clearing speed. Galaxys away from moovement speed. Galaxys away from defenses too? what the fuck is this bullshit GGG? you ltierally want me to copy paste every single league the fking Fubgun build or what? And WHAT THE FUCK is going on with the abyss mobs. They melt you like butter like no other mechanic come even remotely close to the amount of deaths i got from them. The fking degenerative damage is disgusting. Get ignited? get ready to waste 3 flask charges. Get bleeding? Get ready to waste 3 flask charges. Get poisoned? get ready to waste 3 flask charges. WTF |

" Sounds like you dont know what charms are Or chest mods to reduce their duration. Poison does no damage either if you are armour based. Mash the clean

I'm telling you i'm running with 10056 armor rating = 74% phys damage reduction & 71% of the armor applied to elemental hits. 76 75 76 75 capped all res. And still getting one shotted by most of the abbysses in t15 - t16 6 moded maps. And what the hell is that argument? "If you keep getting 1 shot during 6 mod maps.. maybe don't run content?" to hell with balance? then lets make it Path Of Pathfinder/Deadeye/Tactician ?? At the very least, if you give those clases clear / movement speed / single target damage, miles away from melee, AT THE VERY LEAST give melees a decent survavility instead of getting one shoted?? And yea, i know about charms, i wear ignition / poison charms otherwise you couldnt get a single step into a juicy abyss map as melee. Not that it matters any ways. Even with 3 flasks I die by some random dot |
