the game is a joke

Ive built my Defense to a staggering 65% evasion, 54% deflection 3k health and 600 es and still get 1 shot literally all the time. I swear they have no sense of tuning whatsoever. defense is literally pointless.

Second Edit: Also wanted to add in, why the fuck is load screens so long now? was never like that before, its literally gotten worse from being just fine lol.

What level monsters and which monsters are oneshotting you? And what build?

There aren't many true oneshots in the game, so not sure how it's happening literally all the time to you.

There are ton of posts about defences bro. Defence is only for decoration in poe2.

Spec into Blind. Goal of 200%. If you haven't done this, you'll feel instant improvement if you slot Blind II into all your skills that hit.

Don't think so. There's a reason why everyone on HC maximizes defenses in one form or the other.

25k armor for example - a fairly reachable number at level 90 - means that if you take a 4k physical hit damage, that 4k damage becomes 2666 damage, which is survivable by life builds.

21k evasion is enough to guarantee that no level 81 boss will hit you twice in sequence with an evadable attack. And again that's reachable even without Wind Dancer.

75% less elemental damage is obviously 75% less elemental damage..

Once you have other sources of it, like passive tree and jewels, you can probably just keep Blind II in Wind Dancer. That's powerful, because when the explosion goes off, you blind everyone surrounding you.

i have 11k armour and gets one shoted with bleed from white mob on t15 if i don't use flask 2 times on bleed map mode, game defence are f joke. Went to anomaly t15 6 mod map without big damage mods, 2 bosses from 3rd interlude- b&tch hit me and i can't handle degen from bleed with flasks and die. Game is fucking joke, i hope Jonathan will be doing streams of playing str armour poe2 and feel it 100%

What level are you and how much health/es you have there?

Is that armor your buffed armor?
