Temper Weapon doesn't work with talismans

Just ascended to Smith of Kitava, and Temper Weapon is unusable with a talisman, and combust will not trigger if you swap to a talisman even if it has charges. Temper Weapon says it works with melee martial weapons, and talismans are both.

I am encountering the same issue. Either the wording on Temper weapon needs to be updated or Talismans should be able to use it.

I am also having this problem. I want to live my fire claw fantasies.

Now Fire Spells on Hit is also not working with talismans equipped

Would be good to know if it is intended or not from GGG.
When you read the description of tempered weapon it speaks about martial weapon including talisman.

Bumping for visibility, it even states in the description that talismans are martial weapons

Talismans (Talismen?) are no longer martial weapons (according to their help text). They are still melee weapons though. I was surprised as well, when I couldn't use Wind Dancer.
