They dont understand what poe 1 and 2 is. Poe 1 and 2 are inspired by old Legend ARPG games. And not that mindless Diablo 4 game. D4 has invortory auto sort of. And that's how GGG never implants that in-game.

It's not like an auto-sort button would take away your joy of sorting things manually, Sisyphus. If something can be done manually in a game, it could just as well be automated with a button. I'd bet a hand you don't move your currency manually, you use a currency stash tab, and you move it from your inventory into the stash automatically by clicking while holding ctrl

Grinding Gear Games has often stated that they deliberately keep inventory management challenging to preserve a sense of “weight” and strategy. This aligns with earlier remarks from ARPG developers (such as David Brevik), that is sort of the reason why they dont put it in the game.

And what you say is feedback. I am always thinking why people want something as an update and put it as a reaction in a thread that nothing to do anything with a update.

I wish I could understand that. “deliberately keeping inventory management challenging to preserve a sense of ‘weight’ and strategy” sounds to me like they just want more money from stash tab sales. Because if I can’t autosort, I’ll just throw everything in anyway and end up needing more stash tabs to keep it that way. So the only "strategy" here is how to keep all my items without needing to spend more money.

what an absolute non sense haha... like do you actually believe this stuff when you hear or read it?

dude, the strategy lies in creating builds and crafting gear and fighting against mobs in 'hard content' (if there was any)
but having a strategy in 'managing your inventory'?? get the f... outta here lol

As the instant trade brought much relief to the players at last, a little button that would sort the inventory/stash automatically - would do the same for many people
(maybe not for you, well just do it manually you'll be fine, nobody is forced to press any button here)

But from what I have experienced in other games with the auto-sort button they were kinda trash, not very well thought out.

Imo if there should exist such a button, then there should be some logic behind it, a logic that does not just partly fulfill a purpose, but fulfill it as a whole.

And that comes down to a number of things, which - should be individually managed by a player.
And not just throw a button at all players to press and it will do some automatic

alignment of stuff that doesn't really make sense and you still have to manually move stuff around and maybe it's even more annoying than what it was before... (that is what I have experienced in other games, I think d4 is an example of that).

Edit: I think last epoch got it too and it works pretty much the same, it's more or less not useful at all (well haven't logged in last epoch for a while tho)

When I used such a button it made the inventory or stash use its space in a non logical kind of way, where it would align items so there will be either empty space on the right or at the bottom or both,
due to not aligning them in a smart way, because not everything has the same size, like...jewelery doesn't have the same pixel size as weapons or armour etc.

You should make "special effects" that REMOVE other effects.
I wanna disable about 80% of the effects in this game cause this shit is out of control. And it will only get worse cause more and more stuff piles up.

Give me more FPS there is nothing i can buy more WTF
