Player retention reflects the state of the game.

You can't name even one game? So what you're basically admitting is, that poe2 is going prety well.
Thanks for clarifying.[/quote] Oh, i can. Erm.....lets see. No man sky. Dota 2. League of Legends. Counter Strike (a game that was around 25 years ago). Erm.....Arc Raiders. Elden Ring. The Witcher (the game obviously) Heck Megabonk did better :D lol There you. games that did better then the abomination that is POE2. Edit:Minecraft has 40k curent players on twitch so id say minecraft did better aswel :D kekw Grant Theft Auto 5. Hecking Farming simulator has 20k viewers right now :D Ok ill stop cuz its geting mean. So everything thats not a complete failure basicly. Waitn, no. Even a failure is doing better. COD 7 a game that every one is currently shitting on has 25k viewers. How many viewers POE2 has u ask ? 500......... Zuletzt bearbeitet von intersept#1235 um 24.11.2025, 09:11:27

Heeeere we go again.....
|

" Well, i mean if 500 are watching how many are playing ? And how is that a good retention. Why does it even matter if you are coping that you have good retention becouse of this and that. Your own F'ing player base is telling u your slop is bad. Get of the copium and wake the F up. |

That's not a graph for player retention; it's a graph of player activity.
It's a similar pattern for PoE1; The after-league drop there is a bit smaller, but that's prolly just due to more content. PoE1 has had a much longer time to amass content than PoE2 has. You'll notice a drop pattern for that for many league and expansion based games. |
|
" Well. A little harsh... and I wouldn't consider watchers personally... But you are not not-right. Throw away the bots and towards the end of the league you have Aion server population 2025. Understand 6 people and one cat accidentally starting the game while walking on the keyboard. |
|
" Patch 3.27 lost activity in just few weeks. You have some things to do but the new content is absolutely low-effort joke. Borderline useless ascendancy and towerless tower defense. 0.3.0 steam charts look a lot better than 3.27. And I can put any amount of money, that 0.4.0 will be even better because of the new class. People are coming for the new content, old content helps, but it doesn't seem to be enough to keep them. |

According to such "graphs", POE is already dead for years. But, its still living.
Aswell as same people posted a graphs of "second half" of 0.2 and was preaching a game's death. While on start of 0.3 (and even after free days) we had even more players than at beginning of 0.2. Game has not so bad statistics for an unfinished product. MANY of other (even buy-to-play) games probably envy such playerbase. Now, we should get some themes about new "poe-killers", which would be vanished from the minds in lesser than a month. Zuletzt bearbeitet von PantsuFaust#0269 um 24.11.2025, 10:22:34

The issue for me is performance. I want to level a character to lvl100 but I'm going to stop again at lvl96/lvl97 after a weeks play if I keep dropping to 20fps during breaches and near abyss holes. I cannot do the long grind with low fps.

the real issue here is the amount of bots that play the game, if you remove 90% of the bots there would be 1k people playing poe1 or poe2, the inflated prices of every item and/or divs by week 2 is absurd and just not worth the time investment it takes to even start the game up, either it being in poe1 or poe2, bots are a grand majority of the player base.
