Exping over level 97 is boring and totally interest in game killing
" Show us one seasonal pve game, with no player-dropoff. El. oh. él. |

The best way to explain it is the playstyle for farming mechanics is much more enjoyable than the playstyle for farming xp. I stop at 98 usually since I get bored of the latter.

" You become bored after dying countless times and realize that reaching level 100 will be endlessly frustrating take a lifetime to achieve. Achieving level 98 is a significant accomplishment that is beyond the reach of ordinary players. Once again, the XP penalty reduces the number of active players. On top of that, we have a severe amount of stun, ground-burning damage, random critical kills, and a confusing tablet system + the worst feature: Trade. |

" Where is the seasonal pve game with no player dropoff? Or can't you find any? El. oh. él. |

Level 100 should be easy, it's basic expected character progression.
No one cares for race to 100, don't force people to participate in "races" they don't care for, make it a toggle like ssf etc. Reward people for never dying in maps with build up rewards rather than punishing people. It's common sense and game design, unless you hate your players of course. |

" So basically every Rouge-like game shouldn't exist. Noted. El. oh. él. |

" No, it is getting slower to actually cause an impact upon death. If the EXP gain was the same speed as lets say from lvl 89 to 90 then it would be a complete cake walk and ppl would be done within 1 day. Nobody needs all lvl 100 skill points to make a build. And no build guide creator that's serious will base his build around that level. Nearly every build guide will be aiming for ~lvl 93 as "max" lvl as that is a reasonable lvl to achieve even for the casual gamers. Game will be in a great state upon full release and I hope they keep it at least a little bit challenging (it's easy enough for even only semi-decent casual players). If ppl want an ARPG where they get to max lvl in like 1 day and stand afk in monster groups with no danger then they shall go play D4 please. |

" I do not post any links on forum because GGG do not like them. Search by yourself on Steam Charts. |

" That's exactly what I was referring to. The severity of this issue renders the system unplayable. The XP level progression in PoE2 is very manageable—I would even say it's quite easy to gain experience. Just look at the Diablo 3 XP curve after levels 5,000 or 8,000! The XP penalty is problematic because it is not scaled with the XP level. It is fixed at 10% (or 5%) of one XP level, which makes the game extremely frustrating after level 95. They didn't even adjust the XP penalty according to XP gain... that's ridiculous! " You did not understand my answer: of course, you do not need to reach the maximum level to create builds! However, you need to be at the maximum level to get the most out of your build. " I have doubts about the game's success. It will likely achieve moderate success initially, but in the months following its release, its popularity will decline significantly, stabilizing at a specific level—namely, a solid base of hardcore players. The game itself is unlikely to generate substantial revenue outside the Asian market, which is Tencent's primary target. They are not concerned with the rest of the world. The PoE2 Asia region will likely feature a different game system, with more microtransactions and other variations. |

" You don't need any links, but names. Good thing you're just plainly avoiding the answer, since you don't have any. So transparent. El. oh. él. |
