Its not that, you can have great gear and get wrecked if you play most if not all off meta.

There's a lack of viable build diversity.

For example, I ran a high evasion, high block chance (63%) with decent health and energy shield, max resists with 85 in chaos resist & even a decent chunk of armor. Pretty much all of my build is defense, magma shield my hardest hitting ability.

Whole playstyle is defense and block.
I meet a t15 boss, I get one shot and die from being clipped by the corner of an attack I cannot see because the boss fights have horrible camera settings.

So a completely defensive character is just a squishy as an offensive one. That's not balance at all.

The game is currently play braindead one shot builds or don't play.

A lot of people do not like meta or playing games like this. Shutting out a large portion of potential players.

that's that fromsoftware influence shining through. it's not you vs the boss. it's you vs the boss and the camera.

True, what it ends up being is the reason to uninstall and stop investing in the game.

Which sucks because this game does a lot really well, but the boss fight situation is horrible.

Either one shot them or get one shot is basically zero gameplay either way. Its not fun or challenging.

Its game breaking imo.

used to love skipping them damn bosses. Now i've died so many times i can't even level up. I'm actually now just doing lower tiers now not to get one shot by the damn boss at some maps. > Looking at you Bahlak of Cenotes and Digsite boss.

It's not like i got a sea of time. I liked doing some mindless maps in the few spare moments, not to worry about a *** boss. Now I glace at my xp, YAY its upto 5%, oh wait, down to 0% again... Yes I use the omens. The life of a casual player.

Also in my opinion the worst update ever.
