Quickly release balanced patches, quickly release balanced patches!!!!
The 0.1 season saw the emergence of various overpowered bugs within a month of its release, yet you took no action, leading to a rapid decline in item values.
In the 0.2 season, players initially only needed a single legendary spear to dominate everything, causing item values to become worthless within half a month. The entire season lasted three months with almost no active players. For the 0.3 season, you promised quick balance adjustments. However, within the first week, players found that bows could easily clear all dungeons, yet you still haven't made any changes. Item values are now plummeting by 20% daily, and for two weeks, I've seen no update announcements or future plans—just meaningless bug fixes. Item values are like your company's stock. If you don't care about their importance, players will lose confidence in holding them. Every day, players are selling off in-game items, which led me to hesitate and ultimately skip purchasing discounted skins from my wishlist, as I suspect this might be the game's final season. Your design capabilities outside of art direction are shockingly poor. Given the current state, you might as well take bold steps to find the right balance—like nerfing a skill in the morning and buffing it massively in the afternoon, or removing player revives in the morning only to add them back in the evening. Right now, no one cares if your actions seem contradictory. If you don’t act soon, this game will be forgotten. Game balance is absolutely crucial. A game doesn’t become fun just because designers keep adding meaningless, overly complex content. Zuletzt angestoßen am 24.09.2025, 13:13:20

At the beginning of this season, I spent 10 days building a powerful build, but when I tested its strength in the map, I realized everything I did was unnecessary because all the damage was overkill. I could even one-shot everything with just a bow like most players. Nothing mattered, including my defense, because when I died, I just needed to respawn—nothing had any meaning.

the worst thing is - they will not nerf due to some stupid "policy" to not nerfing during league so we need to wait because they didn't test and they just destroyed game pace to the moment where we just one hold button in entire campain.
Don't expect anything to be better during the league due to that stupid policy in EA. that's just a second blizzard and we need to agree for that and lost any hope for the communication and getting better from them. maybe even blizzard is doing better than ggg nowdays... they are trying at least now GGG is so proud of yourself, didn't respond to anything, we have few hot-fixes and they are goin to missing mode, classes are released with no working skills for 2 weeks, core locker bugs are present during entire league, and there's 30 to 40 important issues to fix that are ignored. |

They pretty much have lost my confidence in their ability to deliver on any of their promises. I bought the hype and feel stupid for it. I played less and less each league and see zero reason to ever come back. The game is Frankenstein Poe 1 and I've already played that enough. There is nothing new and everything is bugged and functions like a decade old game (almost like it's the same code all jammed into a new skin).

" Man you had to learn that after playing POE 1 for years? I'm sorry homie, sometimes it hurts to have faith. I haven't had faith in GGG since they officially switched up POE 2 into it's own stupid game... Remember "just a new campaign, shared endgame, same game, new campaign optional"? I remember. It's what I gave their lying company money for. |

" 1) The problem is GGG is very bad at "nerfing" ask any long time fan, they don't nerf, they "destroy". Almost every single skill they "nerf" is not even usable after. We have hundreds of worthless unusable gems in POE 1 because of this. They destroy it because they nerf it on multiple levels. The damage at every level, the modifier values of said damage, innate crit chance (sometimes), the mana cost, and it's interactions with other skills/effects/auras -- so by the time it's been 'nerfed' on multiple fronts, it is legitimately not a usable skill any longer. This is not hyperbole, they these skills are rarely usable afterwards. They have most recently toned this down a little, but no joke, no exaggeration, typically after a league we can tell "xyz build is gonna die" and it won't be usable in any capacity, and I am very serious about this.. Long established tradition. 2) Everyone reacted badly to their typical nerfing, so badly (destroying skills completely) and so many quit on the spot, that GGG decided to now treat the game exactly like POE 1, as if it were fully launched... No updates mid 'league'... That is why we don't get updates anymore. Everybody freaked out because they nuked a few builds from orbit. There's more details like they shouldn't have nuked it, they should ahve given free respecs, they should learn how to nerf like adults not terrorists, etc etc. |

" The league is "over" for many. The game simply has so little to do most of us that can dedicate even a scant amount of time to POE 2 demolish it in days.. They don't have a currency sink for exalts (like the crafting bench in POE 1) so inflation is going to be bad for... well, until they fix that intelligently. They also don't like to announce, they make money off views and hype, remember how they dropped most of 0.3 at once including a 2 hour video of all the changes? That's how they like to do it, it's peak hype marketing. It's intentional. It works 100% of time. They've done it for 13 years precisely because it works flawlessly. Most importantly, GGG almost always fails to deliver. Like always. And when they admit things we didn't know, it really shows how badly... On multiple leagues which have come and gone, they let go news multiple leagues later "oh yeah, x league was supposed to have a big mega boss, but we ran out of time"... WUT?! Yeah -- that's normal around here. Don't expect GGG to make promises, and if they do, expect them to break those promises. If you're still here in 2-3 years you'll see how they operate. |

GGG is not capable of doing nerfs in a reasonable way. Absolutely unacceptable for them to even attempt them mid league until they have a track record of being able to do so between leagues.
We have years and years of evidence that they can NOT handle this. Literally every class has options that are viable. Stop worrying about what someone on the other side of the world is playing. As for the whole "value of items" nonsense: Something being strong has nothing to do with the value of items lol. Have you seen EVERY other patch in the entire history of POE1/2? Something is always mega strong. if everything is less expensive nothing is less expensive. The entire curve is lowered. Your take here boils down to "smaller number = less valuable" Your income in 1990 is $50,000 and your house costs $25,000 Your income in 2010 is $100,000 and your house costs $50,000 The relative value of the house isn't higher in 2010. It's the same. 2) the VOLUME of trade is mega high right now because instant buyout is fucking awesome. That means more competition in the market which means more options for less cost. 0.3 is the best patch poe2 has ever had. It's not perfect but it's on the right track. " Just like D4, the game they are trying to copy. " It's better for something to be useless than to be OP. If it's OP, everyone plays it and it removes all other options from the game. If it's useless, it only removes itself as an option " 0.3 literally turned the game into the worlds first D4-like. I wouldn't say that's the right track. " Il just remind that mirror still exist. Making mirror corrupt both side items, could exponentially increase currency sink and make market just breathe better since after the top item owner always going to be second, but with mirror in game as it is its always they top. Crafter and not only would spend much and much more currency to create new items to sell or use. The whole inflation because of currency hoarding to trade it for a mirror to get that item u would like, not to use it for a craft and etc. |
