0.3.0c Hotfix 2

The boss in the abandoned mansion keeps dancing and playing the piano, and the Night Crow invincibility bug—can it be fixed?

- These steps work(ed) for me & might work for you when de-bugging/improving anything related to in-game performance.

- Apologies if you've already implemented these & are frustrated /w endless tweaks. It is Early Access though and should be treated with the patience of a Pro-golfer.

(Some of these require patience for re-loading/downloading purposes)

1.) Delete games Cached shader files with game closed > reboot PC/console > launch poe2.exe

2.) Check any "auto-matic" setting and disable it, such as; -update dl's -game dl's -windows dl's or "auto-run programs" such as; -google update on launch -microsoft updates. Anything you don't need at start-up or during Poe2 gameplay...disable or terminate, regardless of gpu/cpu. Overall good consistent rules to follow for any gaming rig/console.

3.) Assure that your sound card properties/settings are setup. Usually right-click on the speaker icon via bottom-right of pc screen > sounds >> playback tab >> choose your preferred output device and disable any device you will not be using during gameplay. Check the properties of your preferred device > enhancements > "disable all sound effects". Advanced tab > choose lower bit for quality of sound.

4.) *PC only* Messing with control panel in nvidia and amd's control properties for their GPU's is an easy way to discover problems as well. Keep in mind to make adjustments to the "pathofexile2.exe" in these programs, as adjusting the "base" settings apply it to the PC overall, not just pathofexile2.exe.

Wanted to share my time spent debugging as it helps me improve my social interactions via the web/gaming communities and re-cap my sessions through .txt

I'm new to programming/coding and helping others is why I decided to indulge in the skillsets.

Can we actually play with friends without huge negative impact to performance now? I miss being able to play in a party with people without random drops to <10fps on a 3080ti 12600k

LS happens to Chain a little extra and you remove it? Yet Lightning arrow is free chain and beam all it wants?

You guys suck at balancing. Stop nerfinf underused skills and start buffing weaker skills to bring them up to usable power close to LA.

Fire whoever is balancing skills. Asap.

I can't believe how people are crazy about any changes, like this ruines their lives or so... Omg guys this game studio is GOAT, don't forget about early access and let them cook! I'm sure result will be amazing.

I've been playing as long as you have.

You know the current state of skill power is a joke. If you don't, you haven't been paying attention for 12 years.

On top of that, instead of buying the rights to a working game engine, ggg tried making thier own and failed. ND for 13 years, they have using the same fail engine with multipul shader layering issues and have never been honest enough to admit that but instead keep throwing band aids over and and expect vets not to notice.

You think I'm wrong that 90% of skills in game are under powered?

Full fake game. Timing ralative orb result, fishing mechanics.

Avoid at all cost.

Biased crafting mechanics, phishing mechanics that tie up gameplay, a completely ruined economy, crap gameplay, crap bugs, a return to the PoE1 base in a twisted form.

Complete crap.

I won't even mention the performance.

Don't even think about 2K on good hardware. It'll be 20-25 FPS abroad on Abyssal PCs, where the hardware doesn't matter, everything lags and heats up. Apparently this is a game for Europe, where you need to keep the house warm.

Ngl boys my farming build is not loving this mandatory bosses on maps now. My build currently is unit volume with crowd control and bosses have always been my weakness but i was working towards mitigating that. Now this mandatory boss fight really puts a hamper on it. Gonna keep grinding, gonna keep building but damn, would love for all boss fights on all maps but being optional to complete said map.
