I cant afford to play in Trade

My gear isn't even worth a div, and I can do everything up to t10.

I agree with OP

It's very hard with the market with usefull gear being inflated very hard

I usually rush at league start so I don't fall up with market inflaction

Also, when I can't effort more upgrades, it's when I quit

I'm close to quitting this league. I'm glad I completed almost all content already...

BUT, it's very hard for ppl reaching maps now.


For those saying it’s easy to get divines: if that’s true, why not share with others? If it’s not, then don’t go gloating about how easy it is.

Just sell good bases. A white heavy belt sells for 10-20 ex all day long. Pricing is super fast and easy when you just focus on good whites and currency items and then you can get back to blasting

It's quite the opposite actually.

The gear u need to clear T15 maps is getting cheaper the longer a league goes on.
Now with instant trade aswell, it's easier than ever, because gear doesn't vanish from the market anymore when players quit.

The only gear that gets more expensive is high end meta stuff, because more people reach that phase and demand is higher than what people find or craft. OP is probably looking at nearly perfect items instead of dialing down some of their expectations.

To go from T1 to T15 maps u don't need more than 5ex per item in each slot. (unless u're playing a very underpowered skill maybe)

Research how they are gearing. All their items is SSF and they are clearing t15. I've only spent my divines on 1 item and this was just recently.

You must be looking at the wrong items.

Getting geared for maps has never been cheaper.
Your probably just too greedy when you search for items and you want everything "almost perfect" and thats why it becomes expensive.

You can litterally buy tripple T2 res body armour for 1ex.
Buy double T2 res belt for 1 ex.
Double T2 res ring (with res implicit) also costs like 1 ex.

Congrats your now resistance capped. for 4ex.

You can then get a 360phys bow for 20 ex.
A +2 proj quiver with t4 phys costs 1 ex.
+2 proj amulet with all res, 20ex.

So thats 45ex and your resistance capped with a good weapon and +4 to proj skills.

Now just spend a few ex on some decent helm, gloves and boots that either have es or some +life and your good.

Re-read the thread: no one said this. What they actually said is that actual usable gear is far CHEAPER than a div.

Change what gear you are looking for, because if it costs that much that means its valuable at the top end. Which is an indicator that there is a lower tier item for a fraction of the price that can GET you to the point where you even need gear at that level.

This is always true, no matter what inflation might be. It is literally impossible for inflation to price the majority out of gearing. There wouldn't be enough buyers of that class of item on the market to sell. There's a reason Toyotas and Ferraris co-exist in the world lol.

Perhaps temper your expectations on what kind of gear you perceive as a "necessary" upgrade. Great gear is expensive. Decent gear is dirt cheap, but you'll need to figure out which stats to sacrifice to get what you need. When I'm looking for gear in trade I generally filter it with 2-3 affixes that will be most impactful, and then set a price cap at ~5 ex. There's usually more options to choose from at that price point than I even care to look at. If I find one with more useful affixes than the ones I was searching for I just consider that a bonus.
