One portal Pinnacle bosses is bad design

As it is possible to one shot those bosses with a lot of glass canon builds before the boss do any attack
why there are only one life for the hardest one ?

No one is seeing any mecanic from them, it is a just a gear check, one tape or do not farm them.

At least let people do them with different builds by removing this try limitation.

Mode sarcastic on: if you don t change it, as only people one tapping them are currently farming them, do not waste any dev ressources on animation, T pose new bosses it is the same.

I don t want the game to be any slower but sometimes i would like to play a game with animation and not being punished to no one shot everything.

Maybe reduce drop quantity with every death so people can actually experience full fight.

I hate 1 portal only as well , since i am not playing meta oneshot builds.

Like there are a couple ways to build a char and you generally need to pick 2 to have success. glass cannon and hope to not get hit, stack defenses to tank all dmg, stack sustain to out heal dmg, buff/debuff or some combination of them. Like sure more dmg is more efficient as you kill things but you run the risk of lacking defense at a certain point. You obviously don't want dmg but it's your fault than for not building a char that can last longer in a fight. Like it's not rocket science, tons of ppl farm them that aren't one shotting them you just seem salty that you die to them when other ppl don't have problems

Pretty much. You want to attract as many players as you can with attractive game-play mechanics. Suck them in with a very enjoyable, somewhat flawed, campaign and hope you hook a few whales/no lifers to stick around for endgame.....and here we are in the current POE 2 timeline.

The normal version of the pinnacle bosses have infinite portals, so everyone can see them, but the uber versions are for the 1%
Well...

One portal in a boss fight isn't just bad design, it's pure and utter nonsense.

I've played over 1,400 hours. The game is good, but some details, like the poor mechanics of one portal, need to be changed. I think anyone who keeps this kind of thing in a game doesn't deserve respect.

I hate this one tap thing. I would be fine if it's because of a reward for being a good builder instead of because someone is using broken meta builds.

I guess an analogy is, I am okay getting 100% in test scores because I studied hard and do my diligence. It didn't matter if I was white, asian, or black or whatever. I don't get 100% because of privilege but because I am smart regardless of my race. I hope that makes sense.

What isnt a good decision or design is making all the bosses now stupid easy. Last night I beat TIII breach on a level 86 solar orb build. The staff is a level 18 solar orb for christ sakes....

They need to get the pinnacles back up on the higher tiers as well as maybe add some mechanics, and not just a damage sponge/dps.

Things are way too easy now.

Level 18 on a staff doesnt even have 5 support sockets it has 4 ffs....


Last league with a solar orb build I made it seemed to take a bit more investment and actual care to get this done. Now... even with a friggen staff.... things are too easy.
