Just ran into this issue.

" Wow I can't believe this worked. I just did this today (October 31, 2025) because I had encountered this bug (again), despite them saying it was fixed in previous patches. I opened every door to the outside and killed every monster, and the boss fight still wouldn't start. So I did the Unearth trick, and the boss fight immediately triggered. LOL. Thank you for this tip! |

I came upon this post because I had the same issue. I saw that someone posted the unearth spell (lvl 13) so I went back to my hideout and made the skill gem and on my way back into the map I see that there is a door that says "Arena". I entered and the both bosses started.
TLDR; DO NOT GO THROUGH THE DOORS. LEAVE MAP RE-ENTER. ENTER THROUGH ARENA. |
