Hammer of Kamasa does not drop from Act 3 The Molten Vault Boss

Very confusing. Quest worked on my first character in 0.3 but now not on my second.

The same for me. Worked on my first character, not working on the second one.

I’d like to report a bug I’ve encountered in the Treasures of Utzaal questline within Path of Exile 2.

When fighting Mektul, the Forgemaster in the Molten Vault, the boss does not drop the quest item The Hammer of Kamasa, which is required to progress and hand in the quest.

Steps I’ve Taken to Troubleshoot:
Disabled all loot filters to ensure the quest item wasn’t hidden.

Created a completely new instance of the Molten Vault and repeated the boss fight multiple times.

Fully exited the game client and relaunched before retrying.

Ensured I pulled levers and completed pre-fight mechanics properly.

Made sure I did not die during the boss kill.

Despite these efforts, the boss consistently drops no Hammer of Kamasa.

Additional Context:
Character Name: MystiicGatling

Character build: Damage-over-Time using Essence Drain and Contagion, with Dark Effigy as my main damage setup.

Platform: PC via Steam

Quest: Treasures of Utzaal

Instance: Molten Vault

This seems consistent with what other players have reported about the Hammer failing to drop. I’d appreciate it if you could confirm whether this bug is known and if there are any current workarounds, or if it will require a patch/hotfix to resolve.

Same for me, i have killed him multiple times now and no hammer drop :(

No Hammer drop for me 2 times on second character.

It’s been over a week and it’s still not fixed :/

I am experiencing this bug as well. First 3 characters I leveled no issue. 4th character and the hammer doesn't drop.
