Is there a way to mitigate damage from Abyss's DoT puddle?
I also avoided maps with corrupted blood. Too deadly and nothing is immune to this effect:(

" funny enough this might be true, frustration tolerance/controlled difficulty is a thing so this might intentionally be designed to get an emotional response just enough to piss you off but not enough to quit (for long). |

Soo to answer ops question. The puddle physical dot can be mitigated spaming health potions, and putting nodes on potion charges and so on. Also build some hp. maybe in some near future we will hear about some bloodmage potioneer build. Sounds ridiculous tho.

Just ran a boss map with 1 attempt. Guess what? 3 rares with puddles spawn near the Abyss breach area. Map failed. Thank you very much, come again later.
" I can't remember what modifier is this, but sometimes even a flask won't help you. Even my omen of resurgence didn't activate for some reason. Zuletzt bearbeitet von Latelistener#4120 um 16.09.2025, 22:14:15

ive run into a couple where i had to swap in a flask that would insta heal 25% because the dot dps was higher than the flask hps

" The puddles are quite common they are obly dot but theres also rare abyss mob mod that disables regen (people call it concecrated ground or smthing). Might be that rare you encounter has this mod. I think this mod isnt a dot by itself, its just a debuff aura around mobs pressence. Its a darker colour see through circle, hard to see but possable. Even so im not sure if it jus disables regen/recoup/leech or potions too. This mod isnt as common as green pudles but also not very rare, like once every second abyssal depths i see it |
