Sorceress Gameplay

This is just going to be a frustrating rant at this point because I am so fed up.

I am on Jamanra the final act 2 boss.

I have 500 hours in this game and I have spent 13 hour playing an arc sorc this league. I am trying the infusion build and this is absolutely miserable.

At this point I am giving up. This has got to be the most frustrating game I have ever played. Six months in and you can't figure out how to balance the classes. Every single league there are 2-3 playable classes.

I tried my own build and failed. I have followed 2 different build guides. I am stuck and I have no way to progress my character. The fact that I have 500 hours of experience in this game and I can't progress past act 2 because I have had crap luck with loot is utter BS.

I have to do a 5 spell combo in order to be able to 7 shot white mobs FFS!

There is a certain group of people who, no matter how trivial something is, no matter how many times it is nerfed into Oblivion, will always go out of their way to find ways to struggle with the thing, somehow.

Unfortunately for their peers, this type of people also tends to be overly angry and blame anyone and anything but themselves, and Karen their way into getting their way every single time, until they ruin the experience for everyone involved.

Similarly, I played Sorc in the previous 2 leagues without following any guide. They were playable.

This time I just can't do it. I can spam everything in perfect order through my entire hotbar, 3 times, and these won't do as much damage as a single hit from another certain meta character right now.

I swapped to that meta and am having fun. But I assumed this is gonna get nerfed soon, seeing how popular it is.

Oh i get it now…

There are certain people, that are certainly about do do things, to people that are playing things that are nerfed. Then they play those things and are angry because thry are invested but they play and are Karens and because they are angry.

Unless you're using the optimal tree, gear, and skills, you're going to have a rough time. It's almost mandatory to have at least a +2 weapon with good spell damage on it by Jamanra. Buy a weapon from trade.

For early lightning, there aren't any lightning skills that are good at single target. Try using Orb of Storms + Ember Fusillade. Or Orb of Storms + Spark. Make sure you are using Frost Bomb for exposure.

I think early lightning and fire is a bit rough, cold might be a bit easier.

I was using a unique glove that gave me -25% cast speed and it was breaking my build.

I don't even remember equipping it, I think I hadn't seen an upgrade in so long that I never checked that gear slot.
