Why people say ED contagion great?

any DoT >>> active caster just because it lets you deal with anything else while still doing your max dmg. now get the push for combos that make you stay still and its no contest- btw im still trying(kinda gave up) to work out fire caster, and its not easy

Leveling with minions + ED/C felt okay. It's relatively safe, if anything, and the damage ramps up well with good mob density.
I tried swapping to just pure ED/C later in the campaign, but it didn't feel as good, given the resources I had access to at the time. Spells in this game probably need a balance pass, at least for leveling. |

" ED/C suggestions... Get a curse with impending doom Open withh curse, cast C to proliferate, cast ED too speed the process up... the moment even 1 mob with C dies the whole screen explodes... " "The moment mob dies"... even white mobs dont die fast enough.. and if you are unlucky to cast on blue mob then its gonna die in 10-15seconds. good luck kiting. obviously im talking in act2 act3 or even act1 I dislike rarity so much im almost quitting poe2. GGG.

i did the leveling as a essence drain contagion and was pretty good last league, get some upgrades in the npc try roll itens using the currency, use the contagion is the dmg of the build (play the game)
