Path of Exile 2 — Network Spikes After Patch (0.3)

This issue started in 0.4 for me. Every few seconds latency spiking from 5ms to 300+ms and generally being very unpleasant to play the game, and occurring even during the login screen when picking a server.
Disabling IPV6 resolved the issue as suggested in this thread, just wanted to add another data point so GGG can potentially investigate why |

bump - from germany and i have this with poe 1 aswell. its the only game and all other games / streaming services work fine. Its something with GGGs Servers. The thing is: if i create new instances for example in the campaign after 3 to 4 new instances it works fine (for a few instances) but you cant do that with maps.
I think sometimes i get a "bad" instance server and then im screwed :() |

Totally unplayable with the network spikes, getting over 300ms from 5-10ms from this new patch 0.4.0.

Welcome those now effected since 0.4... this is not a new phenomenon. Many of us have suffered from the 300+ ms spikes since day one of 0.1.
Still nothing has been done |

yep its back to the huge network spikes making the game unplayable. same as with 0.3 it seemed to start after the free weekend finished.

Has anyone tried an VPNs to solve this issue?

The league started with lag spikes that ended up going away on their own. Today has been the worst I've seen it, my ping will start climbing to 20,000+ while I rubberband like crazy.
Right as I am about to finish the campaign and hit maps. GGG please fix asap before I permanent put this game down. |
