You literally just get pyrophyte staff and then laugh through the campaign with solar orb. Which you get access to at the end of Act 1, start of Act 2.

Was true for .3 and now its even more laughing in .4 with how broken staff modifiers are early on.


Fussilade if you really want more damage for bosses. Not needed though.

Never heard of this strat. Got any guides or links?

Will try this sometime. Don't think it'd be good though. Solar orb is stationary, has a short time before the first pulse, and you can only have 2 with overabundance.

Plus you would have to constantly upgrade your staff. And not getting +fire/spells would make damage worse.

Living bomb for bosses would work with solar orb though, maybe even better than ember fusillade.

The large damage from solar isn’t the pulse it’s the ignite

And the changes this league to ignite made it better too


You get more than 1 orb early on with the tree on top of overabundance.
And then the second ascendancy you get 2 more orbs.

You don’t need +fire spells mods in the campaign. They are nice if you can get them though that’s not hard.

You have to upgrade your staff because it’s a weapon skill but that’s not difficult to do.

Play Bloodmage. It's an OP build. Killing Bosses insane fast. Don't start classes that are retarded such as Sorcerers and Mercenaries.

^ WUT?? Merc Oil + ignite is totally broken you can do ALL content on like 20ex lol

Varashta was probably designed to coast through the campaign. When I switched it was cruisy with little gear investment.

I definitely didn't build correctly in 0.3 and was trying to make a pure fire sorc work for the campaign.

After some more campaigns, I think cold and lightning are in a decent spot.

I don't really recall early on but by Act 3 or so Fire is hilarious.

My last builds was 0.3 like a 10 Projectile Fireball for clear with an one-shot Flameblast. Snap sometimes and keep moving, That's about it. I do mean one-shot Flameblast too.

I'd never seen Arbiter's mechanics till this league.
