How to scale new Fragmentation Rounds (0.3.0)?
Last reply because I don't want to repeat myself again & again:
1) The base attack doesn't matter. 72% of base/fragment -> 1429% of base for the explosion (x1.5 against unique with the buff in 0.3). With a partial conversion, it would be even lower for a skill you would only use once per monster pack. 2) Again, in the odd case on someone want to use this as their main skill - idk melee shotgun in the mob face ? - physical is better as you wouldn't be able to make use of strongest strength of cold damage -> The ability to freeze. So pure physical is easier to scale, more stun and isn't mitigate by elemental resistance. Would that be good ? Probably not but it's better than nothing because again the base attack is irrelevant in the case you only use it as detonator. But again, it's not like I haven't said it twice beforehand... I don't know why you feel you have the right to have your feathers ruffled, when it is you who barged into this topic, misunderstood what you were quoting and then proceeded to argue some made up 'points'.
And stop calling it a detonator, when it is a payoff skill. I only referred to it possibly getting changed to the former and in such case noted that its base damage would need to be readjusted. |
