i play ea release, and tell me i wait 1.0 ti come back to check, but see in a recent jonhatan interview, he start to change he's lock mind on some point, so maybe have some intersting change in patch.

btw there is last epoch next week, so have something to do while waiting.

Depends, 0.20 was pretty miserable. If they continue down that path, then it's unlikely. New content doesn't matter if the primary game loop feels like an unrewarding slog. They seem to have wanted to ratchet up the challenge, but only really increased tedium.

I'll play a bit if they add enough new stuff, but if the atlas is not changed in a major way then I'm dipping out pretty soon afterwards.

There is a lot of bad stuff about POE2 that I can somehow make peace with. But, time sink in trials triggers me to max. It's a horrible decision making in game design. That's why I stopped playing. I tried 2 times before quitting. The experience was unacceptable.

If the patch notes suggests that I will be able to get my ascendancy points with relative ease, I'm in. I'm not interested in preparing for another game mechanic, going trough horrible gameplay design and have to go through that again for another 20-30 minutes If I make a mistake.

If I was the director of GGG, I'd fire the guy who come up with the ascendancy non-sense. Don't care even if they have mortgage, kids, or what have you.

i will continue playing standard. If the game tunes and balances skills just like before 0.2 at least.

It will depend on the amount of nerfs it comes with. We know they already started their cycle of nerfing in the patch what players played the most the patch before that, so on and so on until PoE3.

Also, if I play, I would play Standard. I refuse to start from zero the chase of items that I have never seen dropping for me in more than 7 months (since 0.1 until now in standard). Makes me sick this vision of making items almost impossible to obtain so people have to trade no matter what.
