Quicksilver Charm - Grants Movement Speed

For Content Patch 0.3.0, I would like to propose another means to traverse the game faster and think a fun solution would be to take the Quicksilver Flask from PoE1 and convert it to a charm in PoE2.

The Quicksilver Charm would grant you 20% Increased Movement Speed for 4 seconds when you kill a rare or unique enemy and the required level would be 20 as follows...

Quicksilver Charm
Requires: Level 20
Lasts 4.00 Seconds
Consumes 40 of 80 Charges on use
Grants 20% Increased Movement Speed
Used when you Kill a Rare or Unique Enemy

Just make Boots have movement speed implicit from 25-40 and i'm good.

Ok. Sounds good, updated OP to 20% and only pop from Rare or Unique Enemy.

Seems pretty reasonable to me.

I don't think such a thing would be added. Besides, what is the benefit of triggering this after deleting a boss? LOL NO! I know all of you PoE 1 players miss the quicksilver flask, so go play the gazillion speed screen clutter and don't mess with our better game. I am serious. As soon as I started playing PoE 2, PoE 1 became absolute trash to me. Insta-kill. 1-shot, you name it. I had my 8 years time with PoE 1 and I am not going back. Don't bring the crap from it here. sounds good to me +1

it is in line with the design because it doesn't allow you to ignore enemies, it rewards you for interacting with them.

also very fitting for the type of objective most maps have.

I imagine if it was a rare unique charm it would be very sought after for mapping speed.

It probably needs duration adjusted, 6 seconds is a bit long. Maybe 3-4 is good, 2 would be very conservative and make it a charm build only thing. Then they would just need the max charges to be under 2 uses so it sometimes doesn't go off without the right mods. Probably consumes 25/40 charges or something

Mine would be like

Quicksilver Charm
Unique Charm
Level Requirement: 46

20% Increased Movement Speed

Lasts 3 Seconds
Consumes 25 of 40 Charges upon Use

Used when you Kill a Rare or Unique Enemy if not already in effect

Ye. While at it, also add phase run, so we can phase, kill rare, phase, kill rare, phase... kill boss, new map in 1 min. Go play PoE 1!

it is really weird that you are anti-movespeed because it is "poe1" but you love the idea of introducing alteration orbs to poe2.

just really strange, kind of a malformation of opinion with no real forward thinking. I mean you think getting 20% movespeed after a rare kill sometimes is gamebreaking, but giving people infinite tries on magic bases is A-okay. just doesn't really make any sense

So your vision of PoE2 is spamming magic bases for 2 mod, regal exalting, recombing for eternity with exactly the base move speed and your boots. Characters are never allowed to be faster, because that's blasting.

Did you ever stop to think that maybe characters and content getting faster later on is a good thing and just natural progression for an ARPG that keeps many people playing?

Or are we just worried about Mr. PoE2 the only real PoE2 player. PoE2 HCSSF only god?

You are basically describing PoE1 Ruthless over and over while telling everyone to go play PoE1. It's pretty ironic.

I am not worried about anything at all. I do, though, strongly disagree with the trigger condition for such a charm as stated by OP, but look at where it got us. Personal attacks. Does not speak well for you. There are plenty of ways to get ridiculous speed right now. Adding more, especially on such a condition is not something GGG will do. Trust me. They usually add or buff stuff, if content gonna require it. [Removed by Support]

Mate you have been insulting us and our intelligence this entire time and now you want to pretend I am "personally attacking" you?

The silver charm is a cool idea. It fits because it doesn't allow you to ignore mobs since it is on kill. It could easily be balanced around duration. There is no reason to be so aggressive when you express your opinion. We are not PoE1 frogs trying to make the game PoE1, and this idea does not express that sentiment. You are fighting ghosts.
