Skill Sound Design in Path of Exile 2

If only the servers wouldn't disconnect you constantly, so we could enjoy the skill sounds.
As a fan of game audio and music, I've been waiting for a post like this for a long time. Many studios often record materials related to music or composers, but when it comes to the technical/programming part related to audio or sound design - this almost never happens, especially in large projects. It would be great to see more content in the feature related to any game-audio content.

The sound design in PoE2 is one of the coolest I have heard. It is infinitely pleasant to listen game on both: headphones and speakers.
I can't remember exactly, but I think it was Xesht fight that I was most amazed by when played through speakers - the separation between layers is so well crafted, with 'rumbling' sounds, Xesht voice, 'spiky' hand-clap from the ground, and how well all of this sits with the music itself.
Sometimes it's a bit sad, that early in the league fight can be intense enough to make you ignore everything related to SFX or music.

when my bought MTX arrive in PoE 2, which decade?
This is all fine and probably someone is interested, but when will the game work normally? In addition to the terrible freezes and low FPS, regular disconnections from the server have been added! Whatever the patch, the picture becomes more depressing.

The detailed design going into some of these new items is amazing. Appreciate you guys sharing a look behind the scenes, very interesting to read.
I'll say it again, the art team saved PoE 2 for me, they did an insane job, beautiful, please nurture them, GGG is lucky to have them

Unlike the combat/anim team.. you can scrap that one
