" Oh shoot you're right, I might be remembering the elemance node giving 25% effective per golem summoned. that would be 75% increased effectiveness of 16%. I guess in that case golems may not be worth it, although there are other options like stone golem giving 20% increases defenses then fire golem 29% increased dmg and more AOE, might make up for the loss in the ascendency... I think you still get 100% effectiveness now so, you'd get 32% dot multi, 40% increased defenses, 40% increased AOE and 58% increased dmg. Im not worried too badly about them not being alive, since they would auto resummon because of the ascendency node. Jkurs on twitch, come and join the action . :)

I was thinking of doing something with fire burst after the new golem changes and i was wondering...
Did you just essence spam the staff until you hit dot multi and fire burst? Or am I missing something? And does replica shroud really worth it? To me it seems that I would loose way too much survivability regardless of how I build defenses. I could go from 5-6kk to almost 8kk in my current POB but I would also say goodbye to 6 sockets. I don't see how this would worth it in any scenario. Tho I'm no expert on ignite stuff. |

" Yep, exactly for crafting the staff (recombinators might be better though, depends on economy/recombinator odds/cost). I only recommend replica shroud post-mageblood for exactly that reason, without mageblood we just lose too much defense imo. It does have by far the highest damage potential with stacking flat damage to spells/cdr/life on six mod abyss jewels though. |

" Pretty much the same? Shaper of Flame change gained us some defenses and lost us some damage but I account for that in the league start showcase. Also worth noting I don't use any temporary league power (runecrafts last league, mercenaries this league) in any of the showcases or POBs, so using mercenaries it'll be strictly stronger than the showcases/POBs. |

I'm quite confident I will league start this, but I also really want to try to fit golems in, dropping Elemental Bastion most likely. I'm not sure if the new dot clusters added close to witch will work though. It's "Damage over time multiplier with spell skills", and the Wiki says "Fire Burst is a triggered skill that deals area spell fire damage in an area around the hit target. ". Any insight?
The big challenge with golems will be the sockets, and I'm still not sure what to prune out to make space for 4 gems. Culling Strike and Flame maybe. |

" Fireburst is a spell so chaos golem will work with it, still unconvinced about golems but let me know how it goes! For sockets another option might be dropping the phase run/steel skin/automation setup and relying on a quartz flask? |

Where are you using the runegraft exactly?

Any good Merc tech this league for this build? Is it better to buff our damage or to try to get one to assist with single target?
