[0.2.0] Poisonburst Pathfinder [Endgame]

I added another Video.

Nothing special is happening in the Video, it just shows your standard mapping Experience, while playing that build.

Since mapping is one of the most played and over all most time consuming activity, its just as important to show as the endgame bosses.

Personally, my daily time to play games is limited, so dying and losing experience is not an option ;)

Hey, I have another question. If I want more damage, which is better a 25% Attack Damage node or 20% increased Magnitude of Damaging Ailments when it comes to pure damage. I have pretty good survivability now and want to go for more damage. Thank you!

Thats hard to say in general, PoB says +20% Magnitude would be slightly better than +25% Attack Damage, but only by a small margin, in my test case its +6% dps and +5.5% overall dps increase.

If PoB is to trust here, you go Magnitude over increased Attack.

Thank you, I think I will have to read into PoB, it seems useful.

Edit: I would also like to know if you actually use Toxic Growth and what support gems you have on it. I am currently running some armour break with Font of Rage but I am unsure of whether it is good or not. I am pretty sure armour break does nothing but increase the physical portion of the Poisonburst Arrow.

I used Toxic Growth in 0.1, but it got nerfed in 0.2, you could stack several sets of pustles, but now you have only 1 set and its spread out more than before.

There are not many occasions where you could lay some "mines" before the fight, usually i used them on an essences before activating. Mid Fight i never used it, because its slow and it throws you in some direction.

I never really got into armor breaking, because in maps, "monster are armoured" doesnt do anything. The Magnitude of your Poison stack is "calculated" before calculating in the enemy resistances, block, armour etc. from that hit and in the end the hit damage of the arrow is so low, that i dont think you would notice anything from broken armour.

PoB says my Poison dps is 260k + 25k for the actually hit from the arrow.
Ahh that makes sense yes. Was just wondering as you had that skill in your bar. If breaking armour doesn't actually increase Poison damage it's pointless. Thanks for indulging in my questions! :D
I dont want to overhype it, but this build seems to be a decent Simulacrum Farmer.

14 minutes is not bad, i think. Risk of dying seems actually to be very low.

Hey hope you guys had a lovely week. I just found out about the Plaguefinger Gauze Wrap, and was wondering if you could increase boss damage if you went with +Fire Damage on your rings/weapon and +%Fire Damage for example to boost your overall Poison damage through that.

Or is that not how it would work? I am currently low on Divines so I can't really test that hypothesis. In theory that would help with bossing DPS while only slightly inhibiting survivability, sacrificing one slot.

That is exactly how those work, but you need a good amount of elemental flat damage to make them worth using over good rare gloves. those rings are usually very expensive, they are chase item for all the spear builds.

Alright, then I'll have something to work towards. I will report once I can see a difference. :D

Edit: Ok, I swapped out some stuff, got a new weapon. And according to PoB with my old gear my Poison DoT would deal 5k max with all stacks, while with the new gear it would deal 20k DoT. Somethings not right, right?
