Ever since i watched the infamous interview with Zizaran, where he acted sulky at Zizaran's questions, i began to think he might indeed be the problem.

zizs asked some really stupid questions and made himself like like an idiot.

He did what most people on this forum and online do. Complain about something and once pressed...have no solution. It was nice to see Jonathan push back against all his stupid comments with literally nothing of substance other than "I wanna go zoom zoom"

Brother, please.
You will not have me believe that you actually played this league and you didn't notice some extremely obvious problems abput how the league mechanic was implemeted.
Also it is undeniable that ggg has been under-delivering even if you take their word word for it.

Poe 1 schedule was not upheld, despite promises it would.
0.4 brought no changes AT ALL to the endgame despite very excplicit mentions that this league would have a strong focus on endgame.
Tota (aka third trial of ascendency) is still not in the game despite mentions it barely didn't make the cut for 0.3 and should be expected to be ready real soon.

At some point people will get annoyed at broken promises, it's unavoidable.

I enjoyed hte league mechanic and saw it as a good base. I understand that it will take time to fine tune everything. I just don't get annoyed by it.

GGG for most of us have been delivering and delivering more. Each league gets better and better.

I do agree that they should make the POE 1 schedule more viable now so that all the "POE 1 is better than POE 2" can just shut up already and let a whole new POE 2 community build without their nagging.

.4 was promised to have endgame content but during the Q&A their reasoning was extremely valid. Mark didn't wanna do a half ass job and they decided to make it its entire own league. Which is fair.

Its not a broken promise. THey are not your loved ones or people you even know. They are a business that has a small staff and is trying to deliver stuff on time...which sometimes doesn't happen. People need to grow up and realize its just a video game and they are all working their butts off to bring a free game for all of us to enjoy. Its really not that serious.

They did work on the endgame. They halved the drop rate on currency in endgame maps and they deleted endgame crafting items, replacing them with.. nothing.

lmfao
I like Jonathan's ideas. But he is own worst enemy. His nerdiness makes game great, but there is part of that has negative consequences. By solving 5% problems, he makes 95% of game worse in some situations.

Example (I don't know if it's him directly responsible, just to describe problems they create themselves.)

Buying items from vendors during campaign. In PoE 1 when you level up vendors refresh items.

In Poe 2 they wanted to fix problem that sometimes you don't have money and good item is in the shop. So they scrapped refreshing all. Now just some items refresh. Aaaaaaand now it's fked up. There is no sense going to vendor and check items one by one if they refreshed. The help that we would need in Poe2 is bricked.

I think the former GGG members are very tired, and this is affecting their decision-making processes. Perhaps they should retire or leave and do something different like Erik Olofsson.
Neden yaşıyorsun?
I can't remember what interview it was, I think it was early dawn of the hunt. He cited the time they increased the difficulty of the first couple of areas in Poe1 as well received and justification for how unrewarding/difficult/punishing Poe2 was. Thing is I don't think that change was well received, I just think the playerbase was so experienced by then that it was easy for them to adapt. personally I think arpgs should be easy in the first couple of areas given that you usually don't have a build at that point.

I do think some difficulty and challenge is important at times, but the way he was speaking about it was really weird, like the friction was the best part of the game. But that kind of goes against some of the build creativity and power fantasy of an arpg. Which is probably why there's so many restrictions and resource spenders in the game to make sure you're playing Jonathan's way. I think there's too much conflict between Jonathan's soulslike fantasy, and the mechanics of a creative loot based arpg.
I just don't understand one thing. Why not transfer poe1 to new graphic engine like CS2, DOTA did?

This pretty much sums up where my son and I are at with this game. Unbelievable hype highs followed by a year of broken promises. Has left a ton of us real bitter.

Weird, then why did Jonathan apologize for his behavior at the end? I think you're twisting the facts to suit your narrative.
