PoE 2 is really close to D2 mate.
The loot is still better in PoE 2 tho.
It’s really funny to see people complaining on an early access/beta test game that is trying to innovate and keep comparing to a game that took almost 5 years to get really good (poe1).
About last epoch, is it good? Sure but it’s not better than poe 1 and it’s not innovative tbf.

I mean, give GGG time, this is a beta test guys. This is the right time of trying things out and change if not good. With time it has so much potential to be one of best games ever. Gameplay wise it’s already great. IMO now is just balance and content

Enjoying all the improvements. Having skipped 0.1, I am not feeling the same as many who can't help but compare their breach loot of last league.

I started juicing my waystones and the loot seem ok to me. I mean, it's comparable to 2018 PoE 1 loot where you'd be happy maybe making 2-300 chaos an hour.

Now people compare to current poe 1 and last league poe 2 and there is some impatience for sure. I think we are going way too far in poe 1 with phrecia or affliction. The loot need to be slowed down there and yes, maybe ramped up here.

The problem with the game is not with the loot, it is the pacing and the complexity. The game is too simple and too easy. PoE 1 is the game where you need to click many buttons still. PoE 2 is not, people do not play with two weapons set, they don't do combos and they barely have buff to click. We need layers of defenses, more complexity, we need more PoE 1 stuff. We need people to be stuck in PoB for hours trying to figure out the best thing. It's too slow, easy and simple right now. You have the same team working on both games, mix things up. Make the endgame harder as you did in PoE 1 (because endgame maps are super easy) but give us things to layer defenses with... So we have choices to make between adding more damage or more defenses to tank actually difficult content. Right now, you have 10k es with good recharge and you can run ele pen multi proj map and figure, it should be ok. PoE 1 real endgame with altars and tough map mods is so much harder a game with subpar defenses.

The endgame feels like 2 white monsters and a coffee, Im giving blood mage a try again just like I did last league and it feels... somehow worse? The maps are so stressful to run, it feels like even with 3k health and 2k ES all it takes is a bit of RNG to kill me, the maps with long thin corridors filled with ranged mobs are especially egregious, genuinely gives me anxiety to walk around.

Then the gear, I know loot is getting an update but as it is now maxing out my Res is incredibly annoying because I need to run maps or trials for currency but running them is hard due to the lack of gear, and even after maxing out my res I still find myself getting instantly vaporized by 4 ranged white mobs that seem to hide around corners.

The Exp gain is as annoying as always, I come home from uni and play a bit only to gain 1 level once in a while and never feel like I can truly finish a character during a league but I guess I can understand the thought behind levels being harder to get. (cope)

The damage is fine on blood mage since Im using CoC, choir and spark but it feels like Im forced to spend more points into more damage since no matter how much survivability I have maps are always stressful.

The visibility is kind of a problem as well, most of my deaths come from enemies that zoomed into my screen or attacks that seemingly fall from the sky like random lightning bolts or a chaos explosion, needless to say this is almost more of a problem than being very easily killable, like I can cope and seethe about a death that is clearly my skill issue but it feels rather frustrating when I can only tell an enemy is there after it atomizes me and touches me inappropriately.

I understand that it has been said that these things will be getting a rework but It does kind of demoralize me when every time a new patch note comes out it either only addresses one of these issues or none at all. Regardless I don't want this to come off as hateful since at the end of the day the devs are just workers that have a normal life beyond the game this is just a mix of things that have happened to me during this league that have lead me to feel really annoyed.

That depends on how u feel actually

Right now i dont think the loot is much better in poe 2 and divines seems to be just as rare as hr's in D2, and i do think poe 2 has very few chase uniques and most of them are gated behind certain bosses and cannot be dropped anywhere else.
Yes u get a lot more low value drops but most of it is pretty trash or requires a lot of picking up and bulk selling to become valuable

How about a fix to the Passive Atlas Tree where we are supposed to get a +1 to Maps with non-Irradiated Maps that have Bosses on them? I currently don't get the +1 to my map if I only have a Boss on it like the Atlas Passive States
The initial End Game improvements were outstanding. Boring maps fixed, widened, made challenging. But higher tier the risk-to-reward is not there. Top tier end game is not fun. Who's idea was increasing temporal chains to 22%? Are you trying to make everyone quit? Let's make a map where there's fire everywhere and no additional reward, yay!
