" You are correct in the sense that the loot filters make this game look like it drops barely anything. It's a different loot drop system in the sense that it's a reductive system. In POE1 it was about numbers. The more dropped, the more chance something good would drop. That's why we needed loot filters in the first place. Try a juiced T16 in POE1 then revert to no loot filter. It's likely to crash your client so much trash drops. This is a more refined drop system. Less drops, more relevancy in terms of a couple of white items for base crafting, a couple of blue items to check what rolls, a rare or maybe two for some top-off exalt slams. Less is more in that sense but the loot filter doesn't show the relevancy. I tested this last night when I was doing triple tower, juiced T16/17s with 50% rarity on items and increased rarity on the towers and maps. With my loot filter on I was seeing some drops that were just pure gold drops. I was convinced it was broken so I turned my loot filter down to Soft. That's when you see what really drops. It was a bunch of whites and blues filtered out. Even some rares from lower base items that aren't considered top tier (because of the new tiered bases). If you farm in a team you can multiply this and actually see loot, and get more quantity, which leads to more currency, rares and uniques. So the game is heavily weighted towards teamplay. But a lot of people play solo (or SSF) and don't see those benefits. So the real problem is weighting the rarity for solo play and balancing it for risk/reward. |

[Removed by Support] Increasing loot for the plebs after handing down nothing burgers is just going to cause more scams, more price fixing, more spam and less fun.

This is what I'm talking about! Love these planned changes. Could also increase the spawning of the new league mechs like wisps, essences, new maps, especially rogues more. Even specking into it it's a pretty rare event. I should be getting at least one of these events, especially if specked into, every waystone or every other waystone. Doesn't feel much different from the before Dawn atm.

Aside from loot the problem is the trade. And it's a bigger problem imo.
1) The website just sucks. Make an auction 2) Because trade exists and crafting being as bad as it is+ the orbs being for crafting AND the currency+dropping once a year there's just no reason to try and craft anything. You will most likely not get good rolls and waste 4 or 5 exalts that could give you a good wand for example. Just yesterday I bough a pretty good wand for just 1 exalt instead of spending 5 hours on finding 5 or more bases to craft with and then wasting all my exalts to get nothing |

GGG - loot sucks fucking everywhere, not just campaign bosses and whisps. It's awful literally throughout the whole game, it's like improvements made last "league" weren't carried over or something this feels like ass.
