I hope you guys not overhyping this upcoming patch. It will change nothing.

Not to be "that guy" questioning work ethic but is every holiday in New Zealand 1 week minimum?

I know they released an update on X finally but I just want to know what to expect going forward.

With the Christmas and New Years extended vacation and now this, I just wanted to know if its normal for New Zealanders to have 2-3 months off per year? Feels like it has been 1 week per holiday even if it's a "national _____day"...

The hype is real. I will level a new character with this patch to try it out.

Great! Yet, I feel they don't want to because it's OP that those players will complain that their build was nerfed and then mention that the game is sh%t because it was nerfed. Then they'll quit because they can't find an OP build that apparently 'Doesn't Respect Their Time'. GGG is a no-win situation in that regard. Murphy's Law, I guess.


As someone mentioned before, it's Early Access, but they seem to patch it like it's a fully released game. Don't give in, GGG. Nerg OP skills to the ground. You mentioned that you want us to break the game. They did. Now fix it.

POE2 has a lot of potential. We need constant updates like you did in POE1 before the release. There were patches weekly.

The thing is they never said this patch is coming out right away, they said they will "try to get 0.2.0g ready as soon as we can" but mentioned there are some holidays coming. They are just being transparent and people read it in the wrong way.

The original message says "These are just some of the changes we'll be working towards deploying over the next couple of weeks" and they will release the update over the next few days which will be 2 weeks since they made the original post.

Every company and country is different so I don't think it is a New Zealand thing. At least where I worked it is pretty normal for people to book vacation around times like this when you have multiple holidays close together because then you get an extended vacation. Forcing your key employees to work over holidays or deny vacation is not a good way to retain them.
