Wow, 100%. I'm glad other players are thinking this way. My friend had watched a video where a streamer was complaining about the game's drop rates and that the game is too slow. So I was telling my friend all of the above. Hopefully GGG realizes there's a group of players who love the game in the direction it was headed. Unfortunately, very few, if any, streamers would be willing to risk their viewership by fully committing this less voiced opinion.
I think streamers who are complaining about the game are going into the game wanting to farm hundreds of divines worth of loot. But I think there are probably different goalposts available, such as trying to beat the game from scratch using skill X (or for more challenge, on a fresh SSF character).
I also think PoE2 suffers from the Action RPG label. It might still be an Action RPG, but not the same kind of Action RPG that Path of Exile is. It might be an Action RPG mixed with another genre or doing something new. If games didn't challenge the base genre that they existed in, we wouldn't get new games. That's why we have rogue-lites and not rogue-likes.
Many streamers seem to be hopping on the LE bandwagon because it's Zoom, Zoom, Zoom. Raxx just uses movement skills to breeze through the campaign and viewers flock to it. I don't know why that's an allure for lots of players/viewers. While LE is a great state, I can't help but go back to POE2 and try out different things.
Sure POE2 has its issues. Mine are currency drops during the campaign. You can't improve your weapons if there aren't any Regal/Exalted orbs available. I'm playing multiple characters and it seems like in the entire Act 2, I don't get any of those, and that hampers character progression.

Why nerf a single build instead of making stats on existing items actually usable? players want more varieties for builds so that it is actually FUN to play with diff classes and diff gear, not just LS or spark like before, dont you think?
I like the aspect of finding gear, craft, experiment... but how can you do that when half the stuff you find is shii and there's barely any good currency loot??? not to mention that the recombine mechanic works out 1 out of 20 times, having to either farm for crafting materials again when there's little to none AGAIN.
I'm actually enjoying my Lich Essence Drain/Contagion build. It's what I envision playing a Witch/Lich. Build variety is there, but players are flocking to the Meta/OP builds because they don't want to work for it. I get that players like the one-button-clear-the-entire-screen builds. Keep that in POE1/LE/D3-D4 and others. Sure, it will happen in POE2, but keep the vision of more combo-oriented gameplay.

I never played D4 but I bought it over the weekend to try out in the new season. I didn't even want to do it but here we are.

I sense the problem they are dealing with is the fact that once they start implementing great usable gear in abundance into the game, standard will become polluted with crazy good gear which will make the game great to the vision of a past time. Nerfing said items in new leagues will mean that standard play will be better for the simple fact that the items are not nerfed, ex. ingenuity. this is why most uniques and the majority of items are not godly! They are holding back on good gear with the drop rates so they dont have such over power in standard. I believe this is where the problem lies. they dont want to distort their own vision with past problems.
Imagin a game where many many items that were implemented all at once were found out to be too good for the balance and the vision through the players finding and breaking the vision with said items, what would GGG do then?
Imagin a team afraid of pulling up their boot straps and taking chances!

There's caring and then there is being selfish. Reading the post people saying Easter holidays are over patch should be out. Or gg do t deserve time off they should be working on the game. Like they a not humans with lives outside out this game? I'm calm bro I can wait years for this game to improve with no probs. Just don't understand why people who care so much just think the can attack staff who work on the game day in and out not knowing what they have to do on a day to day basis.

I just want them to fix the prism of belief XD. I just want the Prism of Belief fixed. In the Skeleton Sniper. So far I counted 35 people with the same problem.The jewel doesn't work no matter if you take it off, put it back on, deactivate the skill, move to another location, change your weapons, etc.
