Upcoming Plans for 0.2.0g

GGG,

Don't change your vision for more combo-oriented gameplay. I may be in the minority, but I am enjoying this game far more than other ARPGs out right now, despite its issues. While LE is in a great state, I can't help notice that I can just Zoom, Zoom Zoom through most of the content. That's not fun for me. I like some of the systems it offers. Each skill has its tree. *blows kiss*

My only complaint is the currency and loot drops that hardly offer progression during the campaign. I'm sitting in Act 3 Cruel with skills that have 2 sockets. Level 30 items at level 55. Where are the Exalted and Regal Orbs to craft items that could be useful during the campaign? Some Blues have good damage options, but can't change those without Regal orbs.

Where are the Jeweler orbs to add more support options?

Why am I getting Waystone tablets in Act 3 Cruel? Not sure how to use them. I know they are used for endgame stuff.

Dude, you just started with this game and aren't even in the endgame yet. It's good that you have fun but don't forget that the negative feedback people give is mostly based on the endgame as that's where the majority of the players grind.
Came back this morning to try Viper in .2f. Respecced tree twice to be able to deal a little bit more damage, which helped me get her down to 55%. After many tries, getting random slammed, I realized that this game is no longer worth my time or effort to even try to understand.

It is very clear that the content is not respecting player growth, but instead, increases the mobs power by scaling against the players level instead of the zone level that was presumably set when you get to the zone in the first place.

That means that you can grind levels in order to have greater power/skills/passive, but it is irrelevant and just makes you weaker..

I arrived in Utzaal at level 43, and I am now 48 and the monsters have increased in power to match. One would rationally presume that loot would drop a bit more in hopes to find better gear, but it's all garbage.

In the past few days, I see that the fanboy Bot army has been unleashed, using AI generated excuses to defend this redesign, which is really what it is. The sad reality is that the games is unfun and unrewarding. Arbitrary brick walls in progression with overly powerful of complicated act bosses just give the impression that GGG really doesn't want too many people in the end game.

0.1 was not like that. I was able to progress two Act 3 cruel before 0.2 dropped, so the experience was noticeable and jarring.

The fun was sucked out of the game, and replaced with lockboxes and spirit animals. Oh yeah, loot was nerfed too. No Loot for You! Greedy whiners!

I'm done alpha testing this mess. When GGG support starts censoring posts and then fires up the AI Fanbots dialed up to 80% I know its time to get the heck out.

See ya next hotfix.

I don't get the hate. Game is fun.
At no point do I feel like a failure for any of my characters, built any way I want, with whatever skills I think look fun. Some stronger, some weaker.
At no point have I been unable to improve my gear with either farming and orbs, or by trade.
At no point have I gotten to a boss or map that is impossible to overcome.
I like the controls, dodge rolls, and movement while casting/shooting/flinging.
I could wish for more story depth, but that's pending content.

When I started with POE1, we had 3 difficulty tiers, and only 3 acts (maybe we had 2 early on? I forget), and players frequently re-played levels to get experience (which is less fun than a continuous play). POE1 eventually redefined this genre with a single playthrough a strong end-game, and crazy item modifying methods. POE2 seems to be heading the same way. What's not to like, really?

It's usually the PoE1 vets, D4 players and people who only bought the $30 EA pack throwing the most shade at PoE2.
400% of zero is still zero. Killing every mob in the map is pointless. Guess we are back to boss rushing.

Personally I don't think it's and Endgame problem. It's a loot/currency problem. Yes it's a grind to get to Endgame when there's not many items you can find or use Exalted/Regal orbs to modify your gear. I love playing different characters. Not just one and grind, grind, grind. I have several characters stuck in Act
2/3 trying to get better gear but the loot is lacking and currency is lacking.

Is there any info when 0.2g will be released?

and BOINK there it is, you understood absolutely nothing.
I dont ask ppl to bow to my vision, i ask for ppl to respect the dev's vision.
There is a difference between you and me, i play a game made by devs, i respect their vision, i never ask for a total change, which whinners do.
There is a difference between please buff warrior he is behind and yaya change this, that this, that this, that, you suck, no one loves your game, change also this that.. and in the end please do a poe 1 reskin plzplzplpzlplzp or you suck.

And...which vision is that? The vision they collected all the money for, that people enjoyed for over 4 months? Or the vision where they cut every build off at the kneecaps except for LS so that white trash mobs would feel "epic"?

And when people sound off that they are NOT happy with those changes, and dare criticize the GGG overlords, you rally to GGG's side and call them whiners, imploring GGG to ignore them and stay the course because YOU like that nerf stick vision.

You can dress it up as "I'm being Mr. Objective and supporting a developer's vision", but you're actually just a fluffer who can't stop and critically think for a hot minute why people might be just a tad miffed and disappointed, and even had a fleeting hope that GGG would put it back (they won't). Look at the bright side. Now that the streamers and 10's of thousands of players have left because one patch was literally that bad, you and your minority can have Jonothan and his vision all to yourselves. You can praise him daily and ask him for another nerf.
