SUPPORT, but please treat console player equally and prohibit gameshare of POE2 on PS5. if PS5 can share poe2, xbox should be can,too

Thanks @Adam_GGG for the edit to original post to say actual game key owners are fixed (although one of your colleagues has said otherwise and some accounts have been missed), BUT you still haven’t addressed that you state that XBoxes are being used to bot with and this is literally IMPOSSIBLE BECAUSE ALL CODE HAS TO BE SIGNED and unsigned code just won’t work. Bots are on PC where any code can run, and XBox just simply doesn’t have the DLLs, files and folders of Windows (or Linux for that matter) that would be required even if unsigned code could run (which it can but only if it’s UWP code and in the Developer specific secure sandbox).

The ‘reason’ for taking this action is an excuse and is utterly untrue!
Just ask any random console dev in your company, all of them know this is FACTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE

Keep up the good work guys.
While on the topic of Xbox specifically. The Xbox version crashes 90 percent of the time when you try to switch character.
Meaning you have to end up hard closing the game each time and then log back in. Could you look into this?

I will not buy the game 2nd time for no reason

I do get that there might be some legit users being affected and that it sucks... But all I see in thread are people not thinking rationally... Sure a turn back might leave the weak out of balance, but the crying is insane... Here's a few funny things I took notice from several replies:

- spends 1300 $US and cries because can't afford 30 for a another account?
- someone bought skins, sure and they are tied to one account right or they just got away?
- GGG clearly states it involves remote play, so what has Xbox local sandbox environment had to do with anything? Ever considered that input might be manipulated and it's just spamming bots advertising for sites to buy currency and items and is hurting thousands of players? On a platform where virtually one can create hundreds or thousands of accounts and keep cycling them to nefarious purposes?
- Looking at the numbers of replies on this thread it sounds like it's a drop of water in the ocean, a small price to pay for stopping ban evasion and this spamming bot issue...

GGG denied, but Microsoft agents told me GGG couldn't revoke my access because game sharing is a legit system of Microsoft.

Situation was so bizarre that when I told Microsoft I lost my right to play with my wife at home, they asked for proof because they thought game sharing wasn't the reason I couldn't play anymore, so I showed him this post and also the emails GGG sent me, so I got my refund right away.


I did my part. In no way I will ever allow companies do as they please.

Ps.: I made a very similar post and GGG deleted. This says a lot about the company

Can we get some additional support on this topic please? I still don’t have access after emailing support and replying with all the relevant information that was requested. In addition, I referenced Adam_GGG’s guidance in the email so they understand that this is a major issue and topic on the forums that is being actively discussed. I have now purchased 2 keys, 1 upon launch in December 2024, and 1 again yesterday prior to the guidance of Adam_GGG.

My question is has anyone actually been successful at getting support to reinstate their accounts after Patch 0.2.0f broke our key access?
