Infinite Loading Screen Issue on PS5 – Assistance Require

I hope you are doing well. I am writing to report a persistent issue with Path of Exile 2 on my PS5. Every time I try to load into a new map or continue my journey within the game, I encounter an infinite loading screen that prevents any progress. This problem has occurred on multiple occasions, even after following several troubleshooting steps.

Below are the details of the issue and the steps I have already taken:

Issue Description:
• The game becomes stuck on the loading screen when transitioning to new maps/areas.
• In some cases, the loading screen persists indefinitely or until I force a shutdown of the game.

Troubleshooting Steps Performed:
1. Game Restart: I have force-closed and reopened PoE2 multiple times.
2. Console Power Cycle: I powered down my PS5 completely and restarted it to clear the cache.
3. Alternate Character Login: I attempted switching characters to see if the issue was localized to one specific account, but the problem persisted.
4. Network Check: I have verified that my internet connection is stable and that there are no known server issues from my end.

Despite these efforts, the loading problem continues to occur, significantly affecting my gaming experience. I understand that early access builds might have some instability; however, I would greatly appreciate any assistance or guidance you could provide to resolve this issue.

Seconding this, but possibly a separate issue. Infinite loading screen but has only started today and only in act 3. Additionally, it only happens while in couch coop -- it does not hang while solo. First experienced this problem loading into jungle ruins from ziggurat. And then way pointing into infested barrens. We were able to walk into barrens fine the first time.

Very strange bug. "Logging out" (aka PS5 button to account icon and the. 'log out') for both accounts, followed by a PS5 restart worked once and got us through jungle ruins. We tried the same process again when stuck at infested barrens but no luck.

Sucks. Mostly here for the bump and in case anyone has any suggestions.

Same here. Got stuck on the loading screen after teleporting to Clearfell Encampment from Cemetery in Act 1 Cruel. Restarts don't help.

I just made a standalone post and saw this. Like the other commenter - also replying for visibility. Sharing below what I included in my post. Thanks for writing this for visibility. Disappointed because we were happy with our characters and excited about progression. Here’s what I shared:

“Hi, everyone!

We are experiencing an issue with not being able to advance from the loading screens in Act 3. For reference we are using co op via PS5. We started experiencing this in Act 3, Jungle Ruins. When we tried to load in together it would never let us. We had to load them in separately. Now at Chimeral Wetlands, we aren’t even able to load them in together or solo. It won’t advance past load screen. I have another character I’ve only ever played solo and it loads up no matter what area.

Is there any tips for this? Are our characters lost forever to the load screen. Thank you”

I have this issue too. It's very frustrating.

Also have this issue. It is not character specific and was not impacted by the latest patch or server resets. For me the game is unplayable with no workaround as any character is stuck as soon as I get there.

Also having this issue but only on my huntress. Starts in act 3 and into cruelty. Literally can’t play her at all it’s gotten so persistent. You should really fix this before considering buffs and nerfs.

Guys Don't waste ur time thye know all the problems with the game it's been 4 months and the game stil feel like the lunch day with dogshit performance and if u look to pc thye did fix all the performance problems
