Dawn of the Hunt - What We’re Working On

Zones feel large because they are large. Overall the campaign feels way too long on a first play through (each league) for average players. Even experienced players. By time end game is reached you've just played through a full AAA game. It's just a bit too long of a progression. The content itself seems mostly fine, IMO.

Compared to POE1 where you have a nice 3-8 hour campaign for experienced and average players that transitions nicely into an endgame. The overall time spent in campaign doesn't feel wasted. I actively feel the time spent in the POE2 campaign and it typically isn't a good feeling.
rn I'm feeling like the blizcon Diablo guy... "is this a fucking out of season april fools joke?" hahahahaha

Pathetic.

Chris Wilson has never been missed so much.
What about Damage on time? You got bleeding, chaos, poison... but WHY DON'T SCALE??????

btw life is a cat
We need loot please!!!
So sad. Everytime I try to login, I remembered how much I hated POE2. So slow. So sluggish. Everything is so..slow. Roll slow. Move slow. Can't aggro more mobs or you'll get slaughtered so quickly. Be extremely careful about post death explosive mobs. Maps with tons of narrow doors/entrance and small alleys. Waiting for exploding fatty to explode near the entrance. Maybe one or two good ascendency notables. 4-5 buttons to dish out optimal damage. The chore of planning end game atlas. The complexity of builds are no longer there because there are only a handful of viable builds for the end game.

I tried to give the game a chance. I really do. Sorry GGG. This early access is not for me but don't give up. See you in 1.0. :(
This post sucks. Feels like you're trying to gaslight problems away. Not feeling it, do better.

Can I get a league starter of a week showcase instead of endgame builds or at least point us to a reliable source. I want to get through the acts without feeling like im doing everything wrong and be depressed.
Adding checkpoints is not the answer for the size of the zones and maps. They are way too large, overall. Takes half an hour to find the next exit for a waypoint. Why? Partially because the zone is too big, for whatever reason you had to do that. And, because you won't let feedback overrule your pride. We get that you wanted "engaging encounters" but mobs that constantly overwhelm you and/or your minions and obliterate you in seconds. THEN, if you die you get to re-clear the area again just to attempt to move on. This is horrible design and you know it.

If you manage to kill the rare mobs in the area, there's no reward. Here's a couple blues and gold. Yay, that totally upgraded the other blue items I'm running with because rare items do not drop. If they do, it's 99% not going to be for your character. Playing minions? Here's a crossbow. Playing Huntress? Here's a wand.

Okay, let's disenchant things then. Slap a regal on something with promise....get a useless stat, something that does nothing to help. Okay, let's gamble an exalt. Welp, that gave another useless stat.

GG, GGG!
"Normally when this is the case, the main reason is due to other concerns such as monster life or player damage being incorrect, or just a lack of entertaining content in the area."

Are you EVER going to listen? Literally everything is bad about PoE2 maps. The size...could be okay, but you specifically implemented the most cancer twisty layouts possible. Cancerous twisty layouts...could be okay, but you removed map bosses and forced us to kill all rares. Killing all rares....could be okay, but you made the maps as large as Pangea. Pangea sized maps....could be okay..... etc, etc, etc.

I have not logged into PoE2 since day 2 of your initial release, and it's looking like it's gonna be years before I even remotely consider it again.
