" "Many People" don't know what they want because "Many People" cry always no matter what. If you give "Many People" what they want, in the end you get some casual crap and the market is flooded with such games already! Please do not destroy the flair of the game for the sake of profits/making the game pleasent for a wider audience. "Many People" should instead learn how to play and stop complaining. "Many People" play casual as crap mobile games and are used to baby easy games which are just to kill boredom and time and do not need any skill at all where they just button mash their way. "Many People" do probably not even fullfill the age requirement to be allowed to play Path of Exile 2. ----- Conclusion: If you give spoiled kids whatever they want, you will regret it in the end. Nice testing features guys, keep it up, how could anyone skip that banners doesnt give anything at all for players, why 1.5x 2x changes in life or damage, hire more testers, its just pathetic

I would like to see either a general nerf to monster (movement) speed of 10-20% or a general buff to player (movement) speed of +10-20%.
Next up, I feel that improvements to loot drops (both items + currency) throughout the campaign, especially the first 3 acts, would help players immensly. Other than that, I have to say that my first impressions of this patch aren't too bad so far. To be honest, I don't think my first playthrough on launch felt significantly better or worse than this one (after the nerf to moster life). I am, however, still a bit confused as to what actually has been happening since launch. I expected much more added content after ~4 months of further development (knowing that early on, ressources had to be put into bug and balance fixing), at the very least one more playable class. Large area sizes, difficulty of finding map objectives was reported 4 months ago after few days on 0.1.0 launch. There are still the same maps and there are still the same problems. You ignored everything that was reported then and now just make a PR post stating that you will check out the same things that bothered the player base back then. Pretty disappointing overall, you seem to not care/be able to put in the effort of fixing the known things that plague your game. This is on top of the other things that weren't a problem and were made into one. Mainly campaign clear speed and difficulty, gutting of most of the specs( I am a sorcerer player and now that arch mage is gone there is NOTHING to replace it, and I cannot play the class that I want to play), also lack of crafting materials/gold to gamble throughout the campaign. I have found less than 5!!! regal orbs and I'm 45 level, having played for over 10 hours to get here. How am I supposed to get better gear without gold or crafting materials to fix my HP/resists/dmg ?. Also crashes, I have been crashing/lagging every so often on top of the slow progression. This wasn't a problem at 0.1.0 launch when you had 500k concurrent players. Why is it now all of a sudden a problem with 60% of the initial player base gone?

As someone trying to heavily lean into the parry mechanic to test it, I agree that there has been many times where it felt like an attack should have been parried but it wasn't. This compounds the issue because if you are like me and want to test the limits of what you can Parry, you'll often get 1 shot testing this, and since the maps respawn, it feels really awful to even bother seeing what you can parry for fear of having to redo something you spent the last x amount of time on.
When it works, especially on bosses, it is quite fun to dive into that nice hybrid playstyle, but it's hard to take time to learn, and maximize, this style when you feel like your time is severely wasted when you die. I think this boils back down to considering re-evaluating death punishments if you want to keep pushing for new gameplay styles like this. Also, would be super nice to add the heavy stun buildup bar below your HP and Mana bars that show above your character. It's dangerous to check it during battle with it being down by the HP bubble sometimes. Perhaps a fix for general death punishments is to structure it more like maps. Maybe you get X amount of deaths in an area (excluding maps because they have their own system) before the area clears and you lose all your loot. I've lost at least 3 different Azmeri spirit encounters testing a parry of something I swear of parried before, but I get one shot like I wasn't even parrying. I know it wasn't from the damage buffs or other spitir mechanics of the ones I saw either, it was legitimately the attack itself that was responsible for it because I didn't get heavy stunned from it being too much damage. |

What is even going on with this game now? The character feels so sluggish while the monsters have jacked up speed. If you want to emulate soulslike games it should only be for the bosses, because you dont typically have to clear half as many monsters in a soulslike as you have to in POE2. Youd have to drop monster density by about half for this to make sense. Either make the jump or dont, not some awkward middleground. You cant make every fight a challenge and still insist on having 30 fights in a single area.
The final Jamanra fight in act 2 basically killed my hope to even try enjoying the game. No, it wasnt too hard, I got it in 1 attempt. It just felt like literal shit. As if my character is constantly wading through mounds of shit. Theres way too much startup and endlag to make attacking even worth it. I wanted to play merc using bolt-related skills, but i had to give up because the time between attacks was shorter than the animation to load and shoot. Honestly i should be thanking you for absolutely gutting this game, so i can now focus on my upcoming exam. |
