Short version: Can we get PoE 1 new season, please? Or at least a fun PoE?

Long version: I am not a game dev or anything, just with some basic thinking I got to the following game dev plan:

1) You made a nice 0.1, which was liked by most, because it was new, check

2) People complained about it being too hard and slow (which was your plan, and I am not your target audience now unfortunately, still I found some broken crap and Arbiter was 10s so after all it was fun to feel powerful), check

3) and then my first thought would be: yea, nerf the spark (what I built) and other Yungro nonsense, which was too poweful (broken?), however do not nerf a single other thing until you have a clear scale of power throughout the classes. Just put in more skills, supports and let it roll. You have all the time to give power and fun to players from season to season (especially with the new contents), however players will not wait for years for it to be fun at least.. or at least I will not, PoE 2 as of now is dead to me, and my favorite hack and slash is getting halted due to it's development. Double crap.

Imho bigger maps, respawning mobs, 1 use portals all to slow down a game, where you have to fight with white monsters is not fun in this fast world.

As a game dev I would listen to the playerbase, even if it meant abandoning my personal desire to make ruthless^2. Not only on a monetary basis, but on a responsibility scale. Just have a thought about it, please.

Is this satire? No way an actual human being would type that. Ridiculous. What do you actually know about systems design? Game engines, optimization, skills design, interactions? Why don't you just send your CV and apply to a position in their company? I am sure with the vast knowledge you possess they will hire you immediately and you will get to fix the game in no time.

Just to remind some of you:

POE2 is in early access!

Early access means that creators will experiment with various aspects of the game, they will intentionally break and fix the balance, they will change the software code, which will cause smaller or bigger bugs, they will test servers, they will work on many aspects of the game at the same time, which will cause various problems.

At this stage we are just testers. This is sacrifice that you agreed to by participating in early access, in order to get the best end product when POE2 is finished (another reminder: that has not happened yet, it will happen in the future).

Achieving synergy between such a large number of possible combinations of classes, skills, items, mechanics and enemies takes time. And when the rest of the content appears, this testing ride will start all over again...

Crying and literally telling GGG what to do and what not to do (nerf this, buff this, give more itemz, monsters too strong, i'm dying too often with my outdated op some streamer's build, blah blah blah) - at this stage of development - does not help and does not bring anything good. You're just wasting developers time - they know that things are not perfect (that's probably why we have early access atm, idk?), but they need to check what impact the changes have on other aspects of the game to fix them!

For sure GGG will not listen to random comments because they have trusted testers who know the development plans and know what to pay attention to at a given moment of development.

So... most of you crying here, you're just snowflakes. Despite the fact that you are trying to prove that you are not.

Let GGG do their job. If you want to help, then give support, specific observations, data, bug reports, crash resports - not personal arguments and complaints that "it used to be easy and fun in 0.1 and now 0.2 it's hard and no fun".

Egocentric view doesn't help, understanding the process - yes!

PS. Please, do not reply to this post, because I don't care what you think :) I'm just hoping that it clarified a few things and allowed you to understand them better. POE2 will be a good/great and balanced game when it's finished.
souls-like, methodical, tactical gameplay will NEVER work in the ARPG isometric genre, especially when gear/power is based on RNG. Souls games have guaranteed weapon spawns and upgrade stone spawns, and have a fixed challenge. Let us blow up packs and get meaningful loot.

buff base movement speed by 70%
buff drops by 3000% and remove rarity
buff gold drops by 400%
give all characters permanent phasing and remove dodge roll
increase monster pack size by 500%, and # of packs by 300%
add more explosion effects to the game, through ascends or gear
