I'm really sad that all the values on everything are going faster and faster toward the half point percentile. Already the passive skill tree is so diluted to not provide noticable upgrades point by point most of the time, already the codjoling of gameplay toward multiskill rotations hampers most of the gameplay choices you can make to be unviable. Now that the hatcet has come down even harder I feel most choices are going toward being meaningless most of the time untill a random spike happens.

Looks like a big nerf for Hunter. Cold skills look dead. Rangers should now also play fire too is probably the plan. Everything is slowing down, Quiver skills are also down. Looks like it's tailor-made for Fubgun.
Let's hope that the Huntress will be a good alternative to the really cool gameplay of the ranger before the patch. Lots of changes, lots of content. I'm really curious if it picks me up again as violently as the first time. This is not meant to be a criticism, it's just the feeling after reading the patch notes. |

Just as I suspected: they’ve nerfed virtually every viable endgame build into the ground. I’ll further speculate that this game’s Steam rating will get nuked into oblivion.
Given the sheer amount of grinding required just to get the currency needed to participate in the endgame (unless you want to deal with trade scammers and no auction house), I’m gonna make an educated guess that player count will drop significantly. This is exactly what Blizzard did in an attempt to balance power with content frequency. The issue with this game is there are already too many cheap one shot mobs and unforgiving mechanics, so if this is as bad as I think it’ll be I’ll be moving on (along with plenty of other players, I’m sure). What a shame. GGG had an opportunity to be better than Blizzard, but it looks like the dev team is being guided by Jonathan’s hurt feelings over the world first arbiter one shot. No wonder one of the cofounders left. |

" Wasn't a burn at all. You don't seem to have the emotional capacity to cope with a live service video game. Something like Animal Crossing never changes after initial release, you can relax and enjoy building up your town without worrying about it being changed. Minecraft may also be worth looking into. |

It's funny that many of those who write that they are unhappy with the changes and "threaten" to leave the project will most likely be the first to wait for the server to turn on at 10 pm 04.03.
The game is designed to challenge skills and challenges, and people want to "cook" in broken builds and not even conduct experiments in other areas. xD |

" Lots of us are absolutely fine with them, we just aren't as driven to post about it as the angry ranters are. I suspect many of those complaining the most engaged heavily in RMT and are now pissed that items they spent actual cash money on are now worthless. It's a game, there are new rules, there will be new builds and lots of people will play and enjoy them. |
