I'm hoping, surely to be let down, that there's a new support gem that does something about the absurd flask charge costs.

That's a lame solution since it'll eat a support socket, though.

For an ascendancy-only skill, this is really rough. Especially when the new ascendancy skills introduced in this patch are so strong, if anything you'd think the originals would get much more buffed to compensate.

I had 3 concoction builds; shattering, bleeding, and fulminating, maybe I'm weird but they were so fun in their own rights.

Looking forward to going into game new and fresh again.

Monks, Gemling and Spark Arch-mages nerfed and associated key items - Good. Was disgustingly messing up the trade market.

- this is early access and if these nerfs weren't coming, it was going to happen before 1.0 launch anyways.

- we do not know the full list of new uniques, the full list of new support gems.

- entry to Pinnacle bosses got severely nerfed so it's much easier to progress to and then scaled back up.

- try the new classes - seriously, willing to bet that meta has shifted in favor of Huntress - Amazon or Ritualist, Lich, Blacksmith, and Tactician.

- as POE 1 player, I'm going share this with the new players - that map for "Lake of Kalandra" mirroring item rolls - when it was played in league, the rings and amulets you would roll from it, was BONKERS and massively scaled your endgame. Would not be surprised if we receive these nice features here.

Please stop crying and just play it out or not.
I hope there is a new item/support that will make use of overcharge causing self shock cause otherwise i am at a loss of this decision.
Glad to see veterans are thinking exactly what a new PoE(ish) player are thinking. Agree with you 100%.

I'm all for the changes, new experience, and just the sense of discovery. With the support gems added, I cannot imagine the build diversity.

Unfortunately, some people just would love to play the same meta for the rest of their life just to have some sense of "I am the best". I don't think this is that game.
They added new changes today 4th of April, have you guys noticed them?

I wonder how many of the people defending all the nerfs were around for 3.15, remember the nerfs, the backlash, and the backpedaling by GGG as a result. I understood what GGG was trying to do but, the issue was, they did it all at one time, which was a huge mistake.
And furthermore, the people who keep saying "There will be new builds!" answer me this, what's the point of nerfing builds that are popular? All that happens is that people move on to other builds, so in the end, you are still stuck with the same amount of OP builds, you just end up cycling through them.
Why? If GGG wants more builds to be viable, the logical thing to do would be to slightly nerf the OP builds, then make other builds as strong as those, so you end up with more builds that people will use.

I think some of the nerfs are unwarranted. The most obvious, I think you guys went too hard on mana. You quintuple dip nerfed mana anywhere you could.

I don't think stat stacking got hit nearly as hard, which is good, but it definitely needed a nerf of some kind.

I look forward to playing this patch with all of the neat additions, but I do feel kinda pigeonholed into what build I should play, which seems unfair.

This is partially because I don't see any info available on added skills or supports. If possible, additions of these in future patch notes would be much appreciated! So much unknown of what could be potentially awesome things would cut a lot of people's doom and gloom over the nerfs (imo).

I am Happy to see the game going into the right direction of slow methodical meaningful combat not this spammy 1 button kill or be killed game we had in 0.1 where everyone just stacked attribute or mana , tho this is in the right direction i feel there are 3 hiccups to what this game could be in terms of combat , first monsters need to slow down too not just the players as of right now they close gap real quick and could gang on you really fast not to also mention some insane damage mods or soul eater that they might have as rare modifiers , the game contains niche defensive options and i am not saying buff life or Es or evasion etc these can come in forms of skills or some good interactions from passives plus uniques , third in a game where you are suppose to press more than 1 button there are not really a lot of skill options , if I want to be a sunder build for example what options do I have to combo with sunder ? maybe a war cry + armour break and leap slam for movement skill and maybe HOTG as a powerful cd skill , there are no guarantee stun skills there are no defensive skills that i can use actively other than raise shield , anyhow I am looking forward for more patches as i gained my hope back in this game.
