Procedurally generated maps are ok for keeping things fresh only if they are not boring convoluted slogs with snail's pace movement. PoE2 campaign areas and maps suck. The design of the doge roll to use as little space as possible is probably partly due to the poor environment design.

Yes, the world map is awful. It fails at the one job you need it for, which is being a functional map. Give me a nice paper looking scroll background and some locations and make it load instantly.

I have played the campaign on about 14 different characters. And each time I go into Act II (but its a thing in Act I also) the entire world map has shifted.

you want the maps to have different N-S-E-W entrances/Exits, FINE.... but STOP changing the world map!
(And this isnt even getting into the clusterF**K that is trying to move around in Act III after you have completed it to help a friend out....)
