Down to 100k on Friday night; thats all folks..

Welp, that didnt last long. 2 months isnt the worst launch of a big over-hyped title tho.

When you take away the bots which is probably about 70% right now that still leaves you with 30k world wide. Thats waaay better than Concord.

I dont think repackaging poe1 as an alleged "new" game while dumpstering poe1 was a great strategy. Kind of a giant middle finger to the loyal fanbase.

Marval Rivals is at 400k btw.

You are free to leave.
for mmo game 2k people is enough for healthy economy.
Poe is not even mmo.
Poe is mostly single player game.
Also who cares about some random pvp game on steam.
Also nobody canceled poe1. If you think otherwise for no reason - that's only in your head.

Why this thread even exist

2 big hyped games release around the same time.

1 game has regular updates, balance, and communication.

1 game has retained its players base while the other has not.

Relax on that copium brother you are about to overdose

LEts put this way.. comapring to the best launch in the last few years.. is saying someone is a failure because they only made 1/4th the money Elon musk did on the same period.

One is a 5v5 hero shooter, other in an ARPG. Also being free means more people try it out over time - hence those "retained" players are often just some people leaving and some people trying it out...

It's fine not to understand something - less so when you start claiming to know everything about it and making up unimportant data points.

Metaphor: Re-Fantazio has turn based combat, PoE2 doesn't. M:RF did really well, so PoE isn't!

See how dumb this sounds?
Already stopped playing poe2 for 1 week +, don't feel like going back to it. Release acts 4 to 6 then i'll be back.
