One Death Maps is a monumental failure.
" The whole concept of a video game is to artifically waste time. The sooner you get it, the less anger you'll have toward the devs just doing their job. You want to spend your time doing something meaningful ? Most of the time, that happens somewhere else than when sitting in front of a screen. Also, why do you think all the people doing any endgame content (from T1 to T15+) don't have the right to talk about their shared experience of the one portal system ? Yes, we get it, the higher the tier, the higher the cost of dying ; but that's designed that way. You want to face greater challenges, with more rewards ? Then the risk is proportionnal to that. Get a grip. Zuletzt bearbeitet von CoryA_GGG#0000 um 20.01.2025, 10:27:44

" Give one good reason why a game should favor yolo playstyles where you don't have to learn how to actually play the game to win? Zuletzt bearbeitet von CoryA_GGG#0000 um 20.01.2025, 10:28:04

" The point of video games is to enjoy your time spent playing them. No one in their right mind plays video games just for the sake of wasting time. Well, if you do, great, but i'm not in the mood for Anectodal Evidence fallacy at this time. " I didn't say that, you said that. " Don't gaslight and project on others, it makes for poor discussions. Stay on topic. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ " Great question! What makes you think that PoE2 doesn't support yolo playstyles? In fact, PoE2 has the same issues as PoE1 in which with enough currency you can steamroll the game. Elon Musk certainly proved that. Also, every game in which you die/lose inherently teaches you that you are doing something wrong, PoE isn't special. Wait, no, PoE actually is special because it teaches nothing on how to fix that inherently, actively removes the ability to retry more carefully, but some people pretend that's supposed to teach anything. I just think that's... weird? *Shrugs* Zuletzt bearbeitet von Z3RoNightMare#7140 um 20.01.2025, 10:38:23

Just lost a Copper Citadel map to a rare mob that killed me so fast I couldn't even read the mods. The waystone wasn't juiced with any damage modifiers. My defenses are great, I can run T15s with some juice. One death maps are anathema to this game. Keeping them is a horrible mistake. If you disagree, you are objectively wrong and have zero reasonable arguments so please do not waste your time. One death must go, or every mob needs to be tuned down to the point that one shots are impossible. If you need to be constantly on edge to feel enjoyment and accomplishment in a video game, then please just have someone hold you at gunpoint while you play. Save the rest of us this bullshit. |

" And who are you to say someone is wrong? You hold the truth in your hands? You look like those religious fanatics who think their religion is the only true way. Nobody is wrong, people who are in favor of or against one death per map, damn. Zuletzt bearbeitet von Philvil#9636 um 20.01.2025, 10:26:05

" True that. Nobody is wrong ; all opinions are true. But the thing is, PoE2's reality is to have only one portal per map, and that only if you die. That's something objectively true. Now there is people that can play the game like it's designed to be played, and people that can't. |
