PoE 2 Latency Spikes?
|
Heavy spikes right now on my side. Game unplayable for the last 30 mins. spiking from 25 - 500 ms randomly within seconds. some times Latency goes up to 60k - 70k. I do not disconnect during this long period.
I run WinMRT like you mentioned in your tech forum. https://pastebin.com/HmnCPC1f I am experiencing this issue on different maps to random times and i cant reproduce it what so ever. usually it only takes about 5 - 20 min of waiting and watching the Latency monitor (F1) chill out again but right now i am not able to play the game. Due to the fact I tried almost every single workarround i could find on the internet to prevent latency spikes I highly assume its an issue on your side (backend, shader caching, load balancing) but idk. The only thing I can say is, that this persists in different forms since your early access start and it annoys the shit out of me, especially when playing HC SSF... To finish this one up, when i port back to town, i have stable 20 - 25ms on latency, so i highly assume its your instance server infrastructure that causes this mess. Installed Poe2 last week, had lag issues since my first log in.
I tested every single server and every single tip i found on line. I updated network drivers. Everything max out or every setting at low doesnt make any difference. Still ms jump from 50 to 1500+ every 5 sec Pinged google.com via cmd x20+ times through ethernet and ms were 100% stable Today i had some free time and made my android hotspot and played via wireless 4G for 1-2 hours or so, absolutely no issue at all. Rock stable at 50ms. So, no idea what the issue is tbh Zuletzt bearbeitet von ChaosAD#1351 um 17.10.2025, 10:27:20

Joke of a company. Milk more $$ with skins and other cosmetics, leave the optimizations for later.

What worked for me is, I installed steam to another driver than C.
First uninstall Poe2, then uninstall steam. Then install it to driver D. Its 0 latency spikes now. It was 300 MS spikes for every 3 seconds before. I was too powerful, God had to nerf me.
