I HATE POE 2 WITH A PASSION!!!

I have been playing poe since 2013 and I cannot for the life of me understand the direction of you the developer for the game. I came from diablo because I want to play something that made you think about how to play the game and path of exile had that. But over the years the game has just gotten more and more harder to actually play the game. You have to do so much research and watch these no life streamers to actually play the game. I hear the community say D4 is bad but its actually quite good. There's no research to play the dam game the controller aspect works like a charm and there's no elitism in the dam game. WTF GGG.

Now you create poe 2 with no barely any controller support that barely functions enough to go thru maps. Then on top of all that you implement the most annoying shizzle of all to the game which is the dam sanctum and ultimatum the most elist shizzle i ever and seen. Also you die and you lose the map/waystone and no retries at the boss wtf.

Anyway this shizzle is just freaking stupid! I'm 47yrs old I'm homeless living out of my van I'm black wit a checkered past which doesn't give much opportunities in life so when I come home to play I play to get away from my troubles. But this dam game wants me to break shizzle that I can't afford to break.

And about this dodge roll bs fuck that shizzle! My advice stick to what made ur game fun to play in the first place the hack and slash the power creep and the fun stuff added to the game. I know ur not gonna change unless Zizaran no lifer tells you so. To that I say good luck! New players beware because this isn't a video game this is fo those that want to be a no lifer and love getting the shizzle kicked out of them.

The game had enormous potential yet they are managing to blow it all away

You are not alone. PoE2 is an objectively worse game in every way with the exception of the graphics than PoE1.

I wish that it had never been made.

The game is fun until you're forced to just repeat maps just to level up. Im lv86 and at the point where I have to run maps with ridiculous difficulties just to gain any decent experience, then die to some bs that came from off screen and lose 10%.

The game is indeed very hard and is very casual unfriendly on many levels.

Elden Ring's success had devastating consequences on Path of Exile 2.

Everything must be DARK and GRITTY.

You must be SLOW to feel the GRITTINESS.

Everything must be SKILLFUL.

Every monster and boss must be a SKILL CHECK.

Your deaths must HURT you.

You want to sprint and go fast? You will TRIP and FALL and DIE!

You must feel PAIN while playing the video game.

You will have NO ITEMS and NO DROPS because IT'S A TOUGH TOUGH SKILLFUL PAINFUL MAN WORLD.

It's basically masochism masquerading as an ARPG.

the truth is _I_ like PoE 2 and _I_ am glad it is being made. Other games I play a lot? Dark souls. Elden ring. Things like that. I am very much not into Nightreign. But do I go and piss and cry on reddit or forums or whatever about it? No. I just don't play it. It's not a game for me. That's fine because I'm an adult human with adult emotions. I know that not everything is _for me_.

The exact same argument can be said for you to.

I like PoE1 and I am not glad PoE2 went Dark Souls route. If you want to play Soul-like you can go play Dark Souls and literally 2 dozens Soulikes on the market.

I don't mean to offense, this is just an mirrored example of your argument. And I want you to realize that you're taking a stance and we are also taking a stance. And evidently the game can only cater to one stance.

Telling either to "Go play x" won't help.

One of either stance will have to lose. Such is the current polarizing nature of PoE2 and future for Path of Exile game the moment they decide to split PoE2 into 'it's own game'.

actually telling you to play POE1 if you dont like POE2 is the perfect thing to say.... but maybe you are right

path of exiles time is over , your right, they shoudl only focus on POE2 and abandon POE1 entirely, shut it down, close the servers, transfer all funds to POE2.

because no way in hell they are going to shut down the game they just developed over the last 5 years.. they will get rid of the old out dated game no one wants to play any more except for the vets that cant get over it.
